GW was a flop last night! To come out the 2 H and be outscored 13-0 in the first 5 minutes is ridiculous! Its in the past, lets move on! I have not lost 2 in a row yet and i do not plan on it! So lets bank this play tonite! Against the Public!

Back where I should be beating up the books with a nice win last night with the Cavs...was not pretty but there is no instant replay when the book pays you.

This is the last time I will say anything about this matter on the board here.
Whatever I post on whatever board should not be a concern to anyone. I don't always post the same message on whatever board or whatever e-mails I send out. The plays are the same, but the messages are not always the same. I post what I think pertains to each situation. That comment I made was not directed toward you. As I recall, sblink, wardawg, and gtnp also posted the Heat as their plays. BP and PC also said that they were riding your play. And 63% of the public was on Miami as well.
The reason that the comment was not put on the cbs board was because I don't read all the posts there to see what everyone likes, so I had no idea who was on what side in that particular game. I don't have time to go up and down the board to read all the messages. If I am going to read posts, it is on this board b/c there are solid cappers here.
I never come in here or anywhere for that matter and criticize anyone. Check out my other 445 posts here, probably more than almost everyone at gotpicks. It is not my style to say cruel things or direct mean comments toward anyone. I'm sorry that you took that comment personal, but it wasn't directed toward you. It was only made to state the point that I felt better about my play b/c many others, including the public, were on the other side. I am only here to try and help others make money. What should be taken from all this is that I would recommend that people hit my SPECIAL PLAYS hard when most others are on the other side. Just my recommendation. People can bet however they want.
It's their money.
As for the cbs board stuff, I don't get involved in all that crap. I post my plays and answer some questions when I have the time, which isn't often. I can handle you ripping on me b/c you took my comment the wrong way, but this has been blown way out of proportion.
I know who's hot and who's not on gotpicks. I read the posts, but as for pepsiman, pakman, and trilogy, they don't post here often enough to get a read on them. I don't have time to sit in chatrooms to see who's doing what. I'm lucky just to find the time to post this message here.
As for the Shaq thing, Miami has no chance to win the title without him, but in one game in an 82-game regular season, anything can happen. Take a look back at last year. On Jan. 14, 2004, the Lakers crushed the Nuggets, 97-71, as 2.5 point home dogs without Shaq, Kobe, and Malone.
It's your opinion and everyone else's to think that Miami did not beat Chicago b/c they were w/o Shaq for almost all of the game. I will say nothing more about the matter.
I'm done rambling now. I'll talk privately if there is anything else to discuss. I just needed to clarify a few things openly b/c I felt an attack on my character.

Nicely stated and all true. For a guy that doesn't post much (I really don't have the time) but who has been around since the golden days of the CBS board - I really like and appreciate your response. It was a classy way to do things. To many times I have seen the drama unfold - and this was the best thing I have seen that should avoid all that.

I forgot to mention one thing:
You don't see me ranting and raving about winning very often. I criticize myself about losing more than anything. And this year, I have done a lot of losing. Sometimes I wonder why I still do this b/c I don't enjoy the winning enough when I'm on a roll, but the losing kills me when I'm struggling.

Vandy was money last night on the backdoor cover. They kept it close for most of the game and sputtered a tad at the end with the need to foul, but none the less, they beat the spread and brought home money. Hopefully some of you played on Vandy. Well, tonight I am riding yet another dog:
Arizona State +14
ASU needs to win a big one to secure their NCAA bid. They match up well with Washington and this could be a good opportunity to steal one away. ASU has, until recently, found success on the road so this trip to Seattle shouldn't be too big of a deal. ASU is an underrated team that can play with anyone in what I consider a soft PAC 10. This line is a bit inflated and this game will be close. Take the points and ride it to the bank.

JD I for one believe you are well respected on this board, at least I know I do I follow quite a few of your plays and most of the time hit on those plays, I also have been doing this a while and know that sometimes these things happen and I can understand your response and yes it was classy what you wrote today. Just keep up the good work we all need the help here and we should be thanking each other instead of harping on mundane issues like these... So from me thanks a lot to JD and everyone else on this board I have followed many of you and have been helped by many of you more times than I can mention and while my picks might not be the greatest sometimes nobody's are, remember we are trying to KILL the bookies not each other.... on to today

When I heard about the trade of C-Web to Philly, I booked this play last night (surprised there was a line out there after trade was announced.)
1) Knicks (-2) - Philly will have a short bench tonight as the former King players will not be playing tonight. New York is 7-2 ATS last 9 games and Philly is 3-6-1 ATS last 10. Also, NY is 9-1 ATS last 10 against the 76ers.

We went 2-0 yesterday hitting both unders. Unfortunately Valencia lost outright today costing me some cash in soccer. Here's what I have for Baskets tonight:
OUT OF CONFERENCE SPECIAL:
Play on Utah State -23 1/2 @ home against Long Beach. Even if Snoop did suit up, the Miners are in for a long night. Utah State will dominate this game from tip to finish. This is the first time this year you've seen me post a spread over 20, I'm on it tonight.

I'm also playing another west coast team, rolling with Billz's USC trojans to make a game of it tonight with UCLA. This is a huge rivalry game and those on the West Coast know you can throw the records out the window. Neither California team has done much to impress this year, but the game tonight should be very entertaining. It's a push in my book, so I'll ride the trojans who just whipped a solid Cal team at Cal last week.

I like the Zags to continue thier 8 game win streak, and Portland to drop their 3rd in a row at home...Portland was defeated at home by 16 by a not so stellar San Diego team over the weekend...Gonzaga always plays hard so there will be no letdown vs. this weaker appt. Zags in double digits...
Arizona -7 @ Washington St.
The only thing keeping this line from being much higher is there head to head matchup earlier in the year where Washington St. defeated the Wildcats. Arizona has been blowing teams out while Wash St. has dropped 4 of 5....revenge factor on our side look for Arizona to come out ready to prove it was a fluke....
LA Lafayette -2.5 @ Ark. St.
La Lafayette is just a better team, Ark St. has a good home record but hasnt really beaten anyone worth mentioning at home other then West Kentucky, Ill take the much better team coming off of a great 4 game home stand to cover 3 points on the road...
GL all, ill be watching for some others plays, and see if i can get back to winning ways...

WELL, I HAVE TO SAY THAT I HAVE GOTTEN THE DONKEY PUNCH THE LAST COUPLE OF NIGHTS WITH MY OWN PERSONAL PLAYS BUT STILL HAVE HAD POSITIVE NIGHTS THANKS TO OTHERS AND SOME TEASERS. Del-T np bro things are cool maybe u have to get your ass in chat sometimes and meet the guys and chat with them too they are a bunch of cool guys. I was pissed of what happened to Shaq and I do think hes a great person I met the guy once here in TO. Mia has lost 2 games now close game last night with Pacers which pacers won by 2 and got screwed with them too oh well that is gamling for yea u win some and u lose some my bread and butter is Hockey which I had an awesome year last year 82% hits so I'm pissed at them too, anyways gl and forget of what happened things are cool c yea in chat sometime later!

I am a horrible capper, i dont know why i put myself through this hell.....everyone pleae fade my picks...i look at games at work, but i cant get to the freaking sites that show the public percentages, then i come home and see that 2 of my 3 plays have the public on them at 80% or more.....FUCK THAT, i know im going to lose when i see that...
