   i was watching a handicapping show the other day and they were talking about the fight. The consensus was that a lot of 'experts' were taking machida, but most UFC fighters think Evans will win. I roll with the fighters

   Evans +200

   I also like Sherk, but not at -300.

   UFC fight picks:

   UFC:

   Let's roll players. This is a system way to bet so you have to play these as I lay em out.

   MAIN EVENT: 2** on Sugar Rashad Evans to retain his belt against Lyoto The Dragon Machida. Machida is a heavy favorite and with good reason. He's undefeated, but so's Sugar. I ask you this. If you follow the UFC, who has Machida beaten? Tito? Big effin Deal. Tito's last fight was against Machida and he had a bum knee. I know the UFC well and looking at Machida's history in the organization, it's a joke. You can't tell me his pedigree is that of Evans. Rashad beat Forrest Griffin, Chuck Liddell, Michael Bisping, Jason Lambert, and Stephan Bonnar to name a few. Machida's beaten Thiago Silva (who was fighting above his weight class), Tito Ortiz (no longer in the organization and probably retired), Sokodju (who won only one fight in the UFC and lost his contract) and a bunch of nobodies. In addition, Rashad is one of the hardest working fighters in the UFC and has Greg Jackson in his corner. GREAT VALUE, I can't pass it up.

   2** on Rashad +210 against Machida in the main event.

   I'll take Matt Serra for 1*. Plus 230 with two men who hate each other. I'm playing a system that one of these will cover and we come out ahead. Serra and Hughes hate each other and it will be a war. I just think Hughes is done.

   1* on Matt Serra +230

   I'll take the Natural Frankie Edgar to upset the Muscle Shark Sean Sherk. Edgar is very talented and just not as strong as the former lightweight champ. However his wrestling is top flight, he's very quick, and if he can avoid the takedown (he was a division one collegiate all american wrestler as was sherk) he should win this one with his agility and quickness. Great value on the dog.

   1* on Frankie Edgar +260.

   I'll take McFreides to upset a name I can't spell. He has devestating power in his hands and coming off an embarressing loss. I think he pulls the upset tonight.

   1* on Drew Mcfreides +220

   All I have to do to break even is hit the main event or go 1 out of 4 on the heavy dogs. I expect 2 if not 3 of the big dogs to hit tonight in what should be an action packed card. Machida is a counter striker but Rashad has done well against them in his career.
