Writeup on Wisky (Diamond Cutter #4) from ESPN Insider

Found this posted in a different forum. I think it is from ESPN Insider.

Wisconsin -3 vs. Penn State: We thought Penn State might be different with Galen

Hall now running the offense. But it looked like the same Penn State against

Boston College last week, with Zack Mills throwing four interceptions. Wisconsin

is probably better than than it looked against Arizona last week. It was

actually a pretty good win under the circumstances. The Badgers are winning with

defense, which isn't a bad way to win when your top running back (Anthony Davis)

is out. The offensive line is still solid and should be able to drive through a

Penn State defense that looks much tamer on the road. The Nittany Lions have

lost nine of their last 10 road games, with their only victory coming at

Indiana.

The pick: Wisconsin, in a game that shouldn't be that close. (best bet).

Wisconsin is 9-4 in conference openers

The Shark from TexasScoreLine likes Wisky too.

    PENN STATE at WISCONSIN

Penn State is off a 37-13 home win over UCF last week as -23 point chalks. RB Tony Hunt rushed 16 times for 125 yards and three touchdowns and QB Zack Mills completed 19-of-29 passes for 229 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in the win. The Nittany Lions amassed 524 total yards, while UCF managed only 181 yards, however, they turned the ball over six times which brings their total to 11 turnovers in the last two games!! . Wisconsin is off a 9-7 win at Arizona as -9½ point road favorites. RB Booker Stanley gained 135 yards on 30 carries with one touchdown, while QB John Stocco was 12-of-24 for 116 yards in the low-scoring affair. Wisky held a 262-199 edge in total "O", but lost the turnover battle, 2-0. The Badgers won time-of-possession (33:36 to 26:24) and converted 6-of-15 on third down and 3-of-4 on fourth down situations. Penn State is a mere 2-9 ATS in their first conference game of the year and just 2-5 ATS the last seven meetings with the Badgers. Wisky generally performs well in their Big-10 opener, going 9-4 ATS the past 13 seasons. Wisconsin won last years meeting 30-23 at Penn State and held a 234-45 edge in rushing (Stanley 119 yards/24 carries/1 TD) and forced three turnovers en route to the win.

    SELECTION: WISCONSIN (minus)
