have made four plays on this card so far, most of them made over a week ago and the lines have moved drastically since then. love evans and got him at +120. im fairly new to the sport of mma compared w/ the hardcore guys who have been following since the 90's, but ufc 59 was the first ppv i got live. since then ive seen tito win questionable split dec over f. griffin, pick up to wins over a washed up shamrock and lose to liddel, nothing to be ashamed of there, but i think tito is past his prime and r. evans is in it.
also, took sherk -240, hoping his more technical and crisp stand-up game wins some rounds. also, will like to see his power control the ground game, although franca is known for superb bjj, sherks got those short arms, look for him to stay out of the sub. dont like him as much at -280, gettin kinda steep.
i jumped the gun on a silva at -175 about 10 days ago. the more i watch of marquardt the more im second guessing. but maybe nate the great feels the pressure of his biggest fight and silva ends w/ strikes. also silva should his ability to finish from his back against lutter. but marquardt does look like a beast at 185.
last play made was on alvin robinson last noght at +240, he's sunk to +200 on bodog, thinking this might jump back up before the fight. play was simply made on my belief that ken flo is overrated and getting to much love.
poss small play on f edgar if line drops below -200.

I'll release my plays later...but I'm not sold on Rashad's record either. Let's not forget Tito has lost to chuck twice and couture once in the last 4 years. Rashad looks like a beast at 205...but I will be rollin on Tito.
Silva and Marquart I'll agree with you..Should be the best fight of the night but I can't ever fade Anderson Silva.
Staying away from Franca/Sherk...I think Franca will pull the upset but I won't bet it.

Anderson Silva -145 2 units
Mike Nickels over Stephan Bonnar +370 over Bonnar for 1 unit. The American Psycho just doesn't impress me and I'll take the dog in this one.
1 unit on Heath Herring +500 over the Minotaur. Just like the other Pride fighters I'll fade them in their first fight in the octagon. Somewhat different rules and The Crazy horse had the same trouble adjusting to the cage in his first fight over Jake O brien. Make no mistake, this is the Major Leagues of MMA and the minotaur might be nervous against a legit heavyweight.
