Chuck the Iceman Lidell is all the way down to -240 now with a get back of +190. Wondering if all the main event dogs hitting is driving this line down. I still can't see Rampage getting the take down on Chuck. His take down defense is now one of the best if not THE BEST in the game. But we'll see next Saturday.

You guys see the card that is shaping up for UFC 73? Jesus that's gonna be a great one.

    Take care.

    Hey PC,

We have some great fights coming up. This should be an amazing time for us as fans and also the UFC. That UFC 73 does look damn good. I am curious to see who they are putting in all those TBD spots. The only thing that I am a little pissed at is they are bringing that bum Stephan Bonnar back. He is a joke and he is a cheat. The guy has lost his last 3 or 4 fights, and yes I am counting the one where he should have lost to Jardine. He is just fucking terrible and a shitty attitude. Okay enough ranting. All the fights should be good. The next few pay per views and also the free ones will be awesome. I hope we all win some money off them. But I hope they are just good damn fights. Love to hear more insight from others and you closer to the fights.

Bonnar has been in the UFC based on one fricken fight. To this day I still have no idea how Jardine lost that fight. I'm also pissed that no one is stepping up to fight Jardine right now. As Ultimate Capper would tell ya ( he reads on a ton of BJJ and MMA sites as well) no one is exactly stepping up to fight Jardine right now. Rumor has it that Tito turned it down and Lidell won't fight him this year. So someone step up and let's see if he is really that good.

I am interested to see how Franklin does against Okami in Ireland. The time change benefits Okami and if I were Franklin, I'd get my ass over to Dublin right now to get used to it. If Okami can keep it on the ground, he just might win.

If I could pick a UFC to go to that would be the one. The card is shaping up incredibly. Are you following the Tito/Rashad media circus that is their newly born rivalry?

Anywho..9 days and counting until Chuck/Quentin. I'll post the lines from Bookmaker when I see em. If anyone see em up and not posted here please feel free to post em.

Couture/Gonzalez coming up NFL opening week I hear as well.

I agree 100% PC. There isn't anything in the world that can convince me Jardine didn't win that fight. He dominated the whole way through. For some reason Dana White loves Bonnar. He is a punk. Everytime he loses and everyone knows he loses he makes it seem like it's a horrible decision. The guy is sooooo overrated and he isn't that good. He's supposed to be great on the ground cause he has some sorta black belt in Ju Jitsu. Bullshit he is horrible all around. Forrest kicked his ass the first time and even worse the second time. That's the difference between the 2 of them. One got better and one just has an ego.

As far as Jardine. I don't think he is top 3. But I do believe he is right behind Chuck, Rampage, and Tito. I don't think he could beat any of those three. But I also don't see him beeing Rashad either. Rashad has really fast hands. And he is a world class wrestler too. Rashad's only downfall is he won't train with a known camp. He is uncoachable. Which is sad. Cause he has it all but that killer instinct which he could learn. But he refuses to let someone train him. I hope he kicks Tito's ass. But it won't happen. I hate the way Jardine is shunned. I really do. But he has to just go out and knock out the next few guys. And maybe he should speak up a bit. He doesn't say much. He should bitch a little and let Dana know he wants the big fights. They will sign them.

I wish the UFC would come back to Florida. PC I would meet you there. Even buy your ticket if it does. You can quote me on that one. I haven't been. But I have ordered every pay per view. Damn my bill is steep on that one. ha ha

Sorry about that long as message here. Just had to vent some more.

Oh yeah. One more thing. Kimbo talked about coming to the UFC to fight Chuck. Sorry Kimbo chuck would trounce your ass. But that is one bad bitch. Especially with no rules.

bodog currently has liddell at -175 you guys think it will go any lower than this?

i like chuck in this one but was gonna stay away when it was over -200. reason being: rampage said he was nervous for his first ufc fight. i dont think his nerves are gonna be any different this time around in a much bigger fight. liddell wants revenge bad and this fights in the cage, making for a much more comfy environment giving liddells experience in the ufc.

anyway i cant believe it went down to -175. can it go lower?

also if you guys use bodog they have some good props, you should chk em out. but they are only for the liddell fight and the burkman-karo fight. have either of you guys seen lines for the rest of the card yet?

I'll post mine of Friday night or Saturday afternoon..since I'm leaning Chuck I'll wait to see how that line drops.

Jimmy...take a look at Jon Fitch on fight night two weeks after the UFC. He will again be my Fight of the Year if the line is low enough. That guy is my #2 ranked guy at 171 and I think he's going to give Hughes/GSP/and the rest lots of trouble in the next few years.

Bookmaker should have all the odds out by tomorrow.

Oh yeah..I'm all over Okami to beat Franklin in 72..+215 is a gift for that mofo.

have a good one all, Jimmy, if the UFC ever makes it back to FLA for more than a fight night I'm sure Ultimate capper and I will be there and look forward to watchin some beatdowns with ya. Apopka is centrally located you lucky bastard. We'll have to drive our asses out of the panhandle.

Damn this should be a good night of fights. I can't wait to watch this. My only dilemna now is where I watch it. My dumb brother is going down south to see his butthead girlfriend. So I can either sit here and watch it alone or go some where and not hear the damn thing.

I am going to cheat this time with the bets. ha ha I am going to copy your bets PC. I haven't been too lucky with other sports lately. So I need some help. I have some picks of my own in mind. And will add my 2 cents later tonight. I have 2 soccer games I am getting ready to play in tonight so I am a little busy. Damn I wish it were Saturday already. Cmon Chuck. I don't hate Rampage at all. I just don't want to see Chuck ever lose. That guy is sooo fucking cool. But if the money is right. I am jumping on Rampage. Either way I win. he he

Hey PC you gonna be in the chatroom at all on Saturday. Let me know. I will jump on and we can shoot the shit about these fights. And thanks for the insight on Fitch. I honestly don't know much about him. But I am going to watch him and read more about him. I have been following this sport for a long time. And it's soooo damn cool to have some peeps around that know there shit. Most are just pricks that yell at the bar. The girls scream for the best looking guy. It's annoying. Free to watch but annoying.

    Hey PC,

Don't know if you are interested. But I am alllllll over Terry Martin. That guy is just sick at this lower weight class. I have been watching him for a while. I wasn't too big on him at 205 but at 185 the guy is an animal. He will kill the Salavory guy. Not sure if I spelled that right. But I love me some 185 Terry. I have been talking about him to my brother for a while. And he agrees. If he is still +130 good lord I will throw a ton on that one. I hope that one hits.

    Good Luck

I am going with one bet and one bet only.

Betting 200 on Houston Alexander, whoever the fuck he is!!!! Just a gut feeling. No insight whatsoever. I think the "Dean of Mean" is going to get knocked the fuck out. Ill take 200 to get back 900. With what has transpired in the last few cards, anything can happen.

I read that Kimbo is fighting Ray Mercer. It was also announced on Sherdog.com that MR.LASVEGAS is going to be fighting Eric the Midget from the Howard Stern show. The funny thing is that he's listed as a 15-1 dog.

Enjoy the card tomorrow night guys....July 7 will be kick ass....

You know my standard speech...BET THIS CARD EXACTLY AS I DO AND YOU WILL MAKE CASH...don't deviate, but then again, tellin a gambler how to bet is like trying to take crack away from the Bengals players.

Let's roll...we smoked the last UFC, I got some dogs, I got a favorite, and I got the Main Event:

    First fight:

Roll with me on Carmelo Marrero +210 against Wilson Gouveia. I like the fact that Carmelo is this big of a dog. Anyone see his UFC debut in UFC 63? Dude cashed as a bigger dog than this. He has skills and this matchup bodes well for him. Unless he gasses, this should be his fight. He likes to ground and pound is a very good wrestler. So, let's get it on the ground, let's get the rook crowd to start booing, and let's win that wrestler's decision.

**1 Unit on Carmelo Marrero to win 2.1 units

    2nd Fight:

Sorry Jimmy, I disagree. I'll take Ivan Salaverry -160 over Terry Martin. I don't know what Terry Martin fights Oakland is seeing, but bro, I think this guy is terrible. Jason Lambert destroyed him and James Irvin beat him badly. Good luck, maybe you know something I don't, but Salaverry is the play in my book.

**1.5 units on Ivan Salaverry -160

    3rd Fight:

Roll with me on Thiago Silva -250 to beat up on James "the sandman" irvin. Even though the UFC vet is the huge dog, I'll take the pedigree. Thiago is a Brazilian JuJitsu Black belt, at the age of 12. He was teaching submissions while most of us at the same age were in Junior high. He is the real deal and a serious talent. I hate laying the high juice but it's my protection bet for the main event.

**2 Units on Thiago Silva -250

    Main Event:

That's Right, I'm rollin the Iceman. Screw the line drop, screw Quentin, screw his howl, Chuck is gonna knock his ass out. I loved the beer belly at the weigh in, that means he's in prime shape. I'm not kidden but every time I see the weigh ins I can usually tell and I think Rampage is scared. I know that sounds crazy but I'll take Chuck all day in this one. Let's really look at it..

The line opened over 200 and it's all the way down to Chuck -160 for me. Why? Well the betting public who has just started to get in MMA sees the Cro Cop upset, they see the GSP upset, and they think this is the standard, not the exception. If you know me and have read my UFC posts in the past, you know i will ride dogs and and I will ride favorites. Tonight is a night to go after the favorite. There is absolutely no reason for me to back Quinton.

Wrestling: advantage Chuck (and he didn't have the advantage in 03)

    Strength: advantage Quinton

Endurance and Stamina: Chuck..I'm tellin ya, that beer bellied fool has never gassed in a fight I've seen. Quinton usually gasses after 10 minutes. This could very well go into the 4'th or 5'th. Hell I think the first round will be a feel out anyways.

Experience: push..but only because Rampage has fought better competition the past 3 years. Otherwise, you put a fighter in front of Chuck and he beats him. It doesn't matter if he's an elite wrestler (couture) an elite BJJ practitioner (Sobral and Horn) or a striker (Vernon Tiger white) or a ground and pound (Tito). Put simply, Chuck has beaten everyone that has been put at his dinner table.

Get your UFC gear out again, the boys on this side of the pond will prove AGAIN they are better fighters.

2 units on the Iceman Chuck Lidell -160

    Good luck boys..enjoy the card.

Juice..if you want to just give "hey buddy" 200.00 for Houston send him a card. Jardine is gonna whip that ass badly tonight. Leg kicks and then a submission in the 2nd..book it.

    Hey PC,

I just logged on here and saw your comments about Terry Martin. Your wrong about his fight with James Irvin. First he kicked the living shit out of Irvin in the first round. Almost tapped him out. And they came out in the second round where Irvin hit him with a flying knee and got lucky. That is not an ass whooping in anyone's book. I have the fight on dvd I can upload it for anyone that wants to see it. This guy is nasty. And it was a very good fight with Jason Lambert. Remember Lambert is a beast too. He just knocked out Ranato. One of the best in the business. So for him having 2 losses and one being a lucky knee and one to a guy that is very good. I would say that is not too bad. Enough rant. He whooped some ass tonight. That is all that matters. Keep your eye on this guy. I have said it for a long time. He is a beast at 185. I am happy for him

On a side note. The UCF Knights have a new arena here in orlando. PC they have already signed 2 UFC fights for the arena. So you gotta come see the fights here. As soon as they come out with the details I will book some seats for us. If you can make it. That would be cool as hell. Let me know what you think.

    Enjoy the fights guys.

Congrats Wolfman. Way to stick it to the man.

What a card. Great fights. What a suprise for the main event. I feel horrible for The Iceman. Rampage is in his head no doubt. Chucky went forward and got caught that isn't like him at all. I definately didn't want to see him get knocked out. But oh well. There is always tomorrow. Chuck needs to realize that there is always someone out there that has your number. And Rampage has it. Congrats to him.

PC how did you make out. I made 1 bet on Terry. I took him for 2 units so I had a good night. I was undecided on the other fights so I missed out. I definately wasn't going to touch the main event.

Congrats to all that were up.
