Won yesterday with Mich St -2. Marquette was never in the game. I hope someone played the under on that game........... Tonight, USC should rebound from the ass-kickin Oregon put on em in the the PAC 10 Tourney

NCAAB PLAYS
VIRGINIA TECH - 2.5 over ILLINOIS
This year's Illini are not the same teams we've seen these past cpl of years. They also lack of a go to perimeter player and their team balance is a bit shaky as well. That's why they were only a 10-19 ATS. Going with the Hokies which are more polished and they're adept at using defensive pressure to create fast break opportunities on offense.
SO ILLINIOS / HOLY CROSS UNDER 109
The Salukis play hustling defense and the Crusaders have a work ethic on defense which is second to none. Both have low octane on offense which I would side with HOLY CROSS + 8 who will hit their free throws ( Made 16 key straight FT's last 5 minutes of conference tourney final ) Also, Patriot League, have covered 5 of last 6 in the first round so take the points on this one.
UNLV + 2 over GEORGIA TECH
The Yellow Jackets rely on frosh combo of F Thaddeus Young and G Javaris Crittenton ( both 14.6 ppg ) as their main offensive weapons. I'm going with the more seasoned and balanced team which have been consistent all year long. Capable and versatile REBELS who can adapt to any style of play who will display various defensive schemes to create fast break opportunities which worked against Nevada and Texas Tech on the road.
KENTUCKY + 1.5 over VILLANOVA
The Wildcats play tough defense ( allowing 39% FGs and 32% from beyond the arc ) and don't think Nova will get many looks from the perimeter floor today. Not enough to pull this game away.
ARIZONA - 2.5 over PURDUE
Despite the Wildcats subpar and not too impressive season, they're well balance and have a superior coach in Lute Olson who have covered 6 straight in the Big Dance. Arizona is well balanced with all 5 starters scoring in DD which matches up favorably with Purdue today. Wildcats stopper and very physical 225 pounder G McClellan will annoy Boilers only other consistent threat G Teague ( 14 ppg).
NEVADA - 1 over CREIGHTON
I am running out of time to post here but all I can say is NICK FAZEKAS ( 20.5 ppg ) will be key point to victory over Creighton who will lack the components to stay with the Wolf Pack today.
*** I am only posting my top plays and not my other opinionated plays as some requested I do yesterday as by evident ( 4-1 recommended plays ) were the plays to wager on...But, I'm available to offer my opinions via PM's or Emails ( preferably ) to answer any games on slate which I capped as well.

No posts for me yesterday unfortunately i had class and tests and the bullshit that comes along with goin to college........ but i've got two today one of which i've liked since it came out
Oregon -9
while i'm not thrilled that the public is hammerin Oregon, i think they got this one right. I went to the kent pitt ncaa game last year and i saw firsthand the difference in athletiscism from the MAC to a power conference. I think this alone can be worth 6-8 pts off the bat.. secondly, seen miami play in person twice this year and twice on tv. theyre all white (aka slow) and are gonna have a hell of a time keepin up with the ducks fast paced offense. A few three's might keep em in it early but eventually Oregon will take em to the woodshed... To use on of mark schlereth's over quoted cliche's, I see Oregon "imposing their will" today on the redhawks and gettin a 15 pt + victory
