    NCAAB PLAY

PACIFIC TIGERS vs CS NORTHRIDGE MATADORS + 2

I believe the wrong team is favored here with CSU Northridge holding a slight edge in many categories...The MATADORS have already beaten the PACIFIC Tigers once this year...With over 65% of the public on PACIFIC, I'll take the better team and the points.

    Good luck everyone.

Great night last night everyone! I pickroad several of you- whover thru out the following:

Weber St. -2.5 (I bought the hook)

    Wright St.

    Timberwolves

    Wizards

Thanks fellas! It was a very profitable evening with 3, two team parlays, one three teamer, and a four teamer to boot!

I was down over a grand so, unfortunatey I was betting small amounts!

Still- it made my night and I appreciate the GotPicks family for the unreal insights! I've told my friends about this site and they still haven't picked up on the fact that I'm constantly telling them that I'm winning money on a team like Weber St., or Creighton! These guys have no clue who these teams are and they are into college hoops- not like me of course! When are they gonna get it and get on the train?!

So, again, a big thank you to the family!

We hit 2-0 ATS yesterday and I'm rollin my winnings on today's Game of the year. I don't know how in the hell Lilli/Man U got the Espn2 game in the states..but you gotta be kidding me...4 time EURO champ FC Bayern Munchen hosts the power of Spain, Real Madrid in the new olympic stadium in Munich.

I am rollin hard on FC Bayern Munchen/Real Madrid under 2 1/2 -125.

    Here's why:

Real Madrid won the first leg in Spain 3-2. For those that don't know UEFA or these kinds of tournaments. Here's how it works. You play a home and home and if both teams win one game, it goes to "aggregate" scoring. For example, Aquaharry and I were talking about winning two different bets yesterday. FC Barcelona won my play in the game, but Liverpool advanced on aggregate. The aggregate tiebreaker was the 2nd one..least amount of goals allowed at home.

Here's what I'm getting at...FC bayern munchen needs to win by 1 goal to advance to the round of 8. So..with that being said, look at the two angles. Real needs a win or tie to advance. FC Bayern Munchen needs a 1 goal difference win to advance. Either way...the first goal is huge. If Real scores, they will bunker in because a tie gives them the advance to the round of 8. (Bunker in means to pull your forwards and midfielders back and play conservative defense). Real just needs 1 goal and it's all but over for Munchen. On the other side of the coin...Germany needs at least a 1 goal difference but 2 would be better. Two goals is an automatic advance.

Now that we understand how important the scoring is..analyze the sides. The first game produced a 3-2 result and helped us get a lower total on the juice. It opened last night o betris at -145 on the under. So, let's wait a bit and see if we can get better juice. But I am very strong on this under for a number of reasons.

I still believe that Oliver Kahn is one of the top 3 keepers in the world. Even at age 37, his reactions are amazing. You might see the first 40 year old keeper in awhile in S. Africa at the next Copa. Munchen has been dominant in the new Olympic stadium and absolutely dominate Spanish First division teams there. IN addition, Kahn is a shutout machine in the homeland.

PC's UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GAME OF THE YEAR

ROLL WITH ME ON UNDER 2 1/2 goals -125 (90 minute line) in Bayern Munchen/Real Madrid.

I also advocate a play on Bayern, but these games are tricky with aggregate advancement. Teeks and I talked about it and Bayern is the play, but I'm rollin hard on the under and small on Bayern.

UNDER 2 1/2 at 1:45 PM CST today boyz. I believe we are going to see a 1-0 result for Bayern and some extra aggregate action to settle the round of 8.

    Good luck.....

2-0 ATS yesterday...got 7 units on this one today. What I won yesterday in futbol.

Aqua, you can have the rest of the card, the Milan, Arsenal, and Man U are all -250 or more and the goal totals are not where they should be.

For an early game I like.........

    Charlotte + 1.5

I do not believe Dayton can keep up with Charlotte in this game. I don't think Charlotte will blow Dayton out but will keep it close and win the game.

    Wednesday

PSV at Arsenal..(first leg ended 1-0 for PSV)

This a massive match in Arsenals season and there last chance for a trophy. Luck in Cup competions hasn't been on the Gunners side. They should have won the Carling Cup and bad finishing plus brutal officiating cost them a place in the next round of the FA Cup. Arsenal haven't lost a game yet in their new stadium and most of the time this season they have had to come from behind to keep that streak going. A goal behind in this matchup will be almost curtains for the North London side. The PSV goalie (Gomes) proved in the first leg just how good he is with some outstanding saves. Arsenal will be without midfielder Tomas Rosicky and Thierry Henry is highly doubtful which will be a big blow. Julio Baptista on his day can be a match winner or be very fustrating. The same goes for Emmanuel Adebayor. PSV plays a cautious style and won't be looking to get into a wide open match with Arsenal. I could stll see Arsenal winning this game but not covering the two goal spread. At pk or -0.5 I would take Arsenal and losing this wager wouldn't bother me as I would like to see Arsenal advance but Arsenal sure do make things hard this season and as the saying goes..Things usually happen in threes and not advancing would be three Cup disappointments in less than two weeks. Play (PSV +1)

Celtic at AC Milan ..(first leg ended 0-0)

In my writeups for the first leg, I said that Celtic is one team at home and a different team away. Their history in this competion proves that. To advance theyare going to have to put up a Herculean effort because AC Milan rarely lose big games at The San Siro. Anyone who saw them play Chievo on Saturday just saw how awesome they can be once they get rolling as they attacked in waves. I felt that Celtic would draw in Glasgow and lose in Milan and I still stand by that. You just can't overlook Celtics record away from home in Europe. Away to Dundee is one thing, away to Milan is another story. The only question in my mind is whether Milan will cover the spread. I think they win this match 2-0 or 3-0. Play(AC Milan -1 & -1.5)

Real Madrid at Bayern Munich..(first leg ended 3-2 for Real Madrid)

How important was that late goal by Bayern Munich at The Berneabeau in the first leg. All Bayern Munich needs to advance is a 1-0 win instead of a two goal win. What you should worry about if your a Real Madrid supporter is how much Bayern dominated the last fifteen to twenty minutes of that match. Bayern Munich haven't had the best of seasons but mainly due to Werder Bremen and Schalke self destructing as of late they still have a chance to recapture the German title. Both clubs have huge matchups after this one as Real play Barcelona and Bayern play Werder Bremen. German teams have this resolve about them and they never give up. This game could either be another shootout or a tight affair so i'm not touching the total. I just like the way Bayern Munich finished the first leg in Madrid. The home crowd I think will be the difference to push Bayern to victory. Play (Bayern Munich -0.5)

Not touching Lille at Manchester United

Hello Legend. Well my writeups for Wednesdays games are posted in this thread.

I think all the home teams will win today. I'm not playing Lille at United because United have been poor as of late and have been badly outplayed only to win at the end. They either blow out Lille or it's a nail biter. The French side have been doing alot of talking but there away from home so I don't put to much faith in their words to give United a scare. It would be easy to take Lille at +1 & +1.5 but I could see United scoring a late winner as Lille push forward killing the wager.

I like Milan to win and I think they will. The only question is whether they can win by 2 clear goals. I think they do but after 45 minutes will tell the story. If it's still 0-0 at the half than it will be hard to cover because Celtic will be much more cautious and may just play for extra time and penalties in the second half.

Who knows what Arsenal will do?. All they need is one goal to level the aggregate but they have to be careful not to give up one themselves or they will have to win 3-1 to advance. Arsenal just waste so many chances time after time that they may shoot themselves in the foot again.

My favorite lean Legend is Bayern Munich. Unless the final score is 3-2 for Bayern in regulation (which would mean extra time) they have to win this in 90 minutes. Any draw would send Real Madrid through. All the German side needs is a 1-0 win. Real Madrid have some problems going into this match. David Beckham won't play because of injury and he has been their most influential player since their manager Fabio Cappello inserted him back into the lineup. He set up all three goals in the first leg in Madrid. Jose Antonio Reyes is out injured also. Defender Fabio Cannavaro is also doubtful with a thigh injury. Thats three key players for Real Madrid. Real Madrid eliminated Bayern Munich some years back so there is the revenge angle also.

Bayern were all over Real for the last twenty minutes in the first game and I just don'tthink that Real away from home can beat Bayern if they put that same kind of effort again (Bayern have no choice really). Real Madrid have played well away from home in LaLiga so they have that going for them. I just think that Bayern needing that one goal will be very desperate. The start of the match might be cagey and cautious but as it goes on, I think the German side will take control. Either this game ends in a draw and Real Marid advance or Bayen wins outright in regulation. I like Bayern to do the job in regulation time

I'm in shock...but an inspired effort and Bayern got me a little bit back. The penalty kick was legit, I can't bitch...Should have released Bayern but that's the day I'm having, lost on a hoops play in the East.

Anyways...2-1 ATS but even units after the Munchen game.

See ya next leg....as Aqua would say...Cheers.

The PK was late in the game but justified.

Sorry fellas...we'll get em next round.
