USC -11.5 - I agree this is the week SC gets back on track with a blowout

My logic:
I've personally subjected myself to the pain of betting on Temple games. I'm 2-0 on them and I will take a decent Bowling Green team to plant the number on Temple again. As an indepedent, Temple has nothing to play for.
BG has lost to Ohio State, Wisconsin, Kent State and Central Michigan. That's not shabby.
Temple on the other hand has mustered 71 points in 8 games. Do the math. They've allowed 351 points in 8 games.
I'm on Bowling Green Fellas -18 @ Temple. I WILL NOT BET THIS GAME IF THE WEATHER IS VERY BAD!!!!
But if it's somewhat decent and no wind, snow, or rain, Bowling Green should roll. They have more experience, they are still playing for a bowl game, and they won't make the same mistakes Temple does.

It's only 85 bucks and my bookie will be paying for it. I will probably add a bottle of 1998 Stags Leap merlot also. Hey guys....As most of you know or would have noticed, I prefer to bet favorites....The only time I usually bet underdogs is when I believe they will win the game outright....Also, I do not normally bet against the hometown teams, unless it is the Bruins of course or some other special circumstance....I believe there is one today...Its called a NOR'EASTER!
I waited up and got the early edition of the Herald just to check the articles on the game....anyway, it is 4:30am and all is as predicted...The forecast calls for heavy rain (which has started) up to 2 inches and extremely heavy winds....they are talking anywhere from 40-60MPH.
Big deal right? Well, considering Boston College is giving up more points thatn they have scored in any game this year....I think so. BC's average is 25ppg, the most they scored in one game was 34 and 10 of those points were in overtime..Now i know Buffalo sucks but remember only 3 weeks ago, BC at home beat MAINE by a score of 22-3...Ryan was healthy and there wasn't a Nor'easter.
This excerpt was taken from today's Boston Herald....Also, starting wide receiver Tony Gonzalez and middle linebacker Jolonn Dunbar are questionable with undisclosed injuries. Quarterback Matt Ryan is expected to start, but he is less than 100 percent with his ongoing foot injury.
Given the weather circumstances, the injuries, the fact that Tom O'Brien does not run up scores and FOCUS...As for focus, which has to be a question with this game coming after the win in Tallahassee, Fla., and before what could be the pivotal game in the Atlantic Division race next week at Wake Forest BC will not take unnecessary risks by playing anyone with potential injuries with a HUGE game on deck for next week. I believe that this a beautiful oppurtunity to cash in here....ball control and clock management will dictate this game...

I have a question......
When numerous people on this site refer to "what the public is on", how exactly do you come to that conclusion? Is it based on the betting trends displayed on Sportsbook.com? I really do not understand. I hope you guys are not relying on that information or basing your plays on the publics plays strictly from that site. Do you honestly believe that? If so I have some ocean front property in South Dakota that I could sell to you really cheap!!!! Seriously, where do you get that info? If you have a buddy who works at the Mirage Book that would be reputable. If you believe what an online sportsbook posts then you are out of your fricking mind!!!! Why in the world would a gambling site give a bettor any hint of an advantage (if you even call it an advantage) is crazy!!!
Let me know...I am curious to where that info comes from

UC.....i do not rely on website info when looking at public %....i actually have a few contacts that work in sportsbooks....Also, i have 3 bookies that i dont go throug that give me what sides most are on....I know this is only hearsay info, but it has worked for me....im not disrespecting your picks, as you have proven to be solid, just expressing that i personally would stay away due to how i handicap games

Play On - Home underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points (Oklahoma State) - after failing to cover the spread in 3 out of their last 4 games against opponent after covering the spread in 4 out of their last 5 games.
(29-7 since 1992; 80.6%)
This system is 8-1 ATS since 2002, 11-2 ATS since 2000 and 26-6 ATS since 1995.
Play On - A home team (OKLAHOMA ST) - after failing to cover the spread in 3 out of their last 4 games against opponent after covering the spread in 4 out of their last 5 games.
(80-39 over the last 10 seasons; 67.2%)
This system is 20-8 ATS since 2002 and 37-13 ATS since 2000.
Oklahoma State is 7-4 ATS as home underdogs (last 11) and will be ready to take advantage of a deflated Nebraska squad.

Slam, nice stats, but there are trends for every game no matter what side you choose. This comes down to common sense. Nebraska is flat out the better team. Their only two losses have come at USC and the heartbreaker against Texas last week. They are are still in the hunt for a spot in the Big 12 Championship. This is a MUST win for the Cornhuskers. They have a home game vs Mizzu next week, the winner will most prob represent the Big 12 North in the championship game. I see a big game from the Cornhuskers with a 14pt win.

As for my 'SC pick....I will be eating a TV dinner this evening..A far cry from my KOBE beef fillet. The 3 fumbles and the INT in the endzone were killers, but excuses are for the weak. To make matters worse, I bet the second half -7 and lost it as well. All in all I gave back everything I won on the World Series money line. You win some and lose some...My new posted record is 6-1, I believe. I am happy with it but money management is key also in betting and I failed to do it properly. The fucked up thing is that I would do it again and again and again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be back next week with more winners. I hope to hell USC is not on my list again....I do not cap NFL but I am sure there are some KILLER TEASERS on the card!!!!!!
