SATURDAY JUNE 17th -- WINKY vs TAYLOR -- POST THOUGHTS
Fellas.. Post Your Thoughts! In my opinion.. this is gonna be a GREAT FIGHT.. Great in the fact that... they should matchup well ... not necessarily Great in the sense of Gatti-Ward style, but simply a good matchup ... If WINKY brings out the same Game Plan as he did against Tito .. does Taylor even have a shot ????? If that was the case, why is the fight even money, with Taylor the slight slight favorite? I personally am not sure as of yet who wins this bout and in what manner.. but Look at the JUICE on the OVER 11.5 -400 ... A KO would be OH SO Profitable in this matchup ha.... All I know is this .. Taylor looked good against B Hop without a doubt ... the only thing that gets me is this .. That Defense and Jab style that Winky brought out against Tito looked pretty much unbeatable.. do you differ in that ???????? I dont know.. I'm gonna really start digging more on this fight tonight .. because opinion wise ... this is a very tough fight to call ... but my early lean would have to be Winky + ... but nothing solid YET ...

(I think Wright does enough to control the majority of rounds but not enough to impress the judges or the pro-Taylor crowd. Taylor, to his credit, will be the aggressor and keep his hands and feet moving for most of the bout. Although he probably won't seriously hurt Winky or land too many clean shots, he'll credit for his effort and retain his title.)

Jason Probst - Winky by very close decision
(It should be a great fight and a tactical masterpiece with both men adjusting. Wouldn't be surprised to see this be a controversial decision for Taylor either, as he figures to land the harder shots. But Wink's tactical savvy and resilience remind me too much of Hopkins, whereas Taylor may still be a work in progress under Manny Steward. It's the best fight this year that could be on Pay Per View, but amazingly, isn't)

Allan Scotto - Jermain Taylor vs. Winky Wright – Wright by decision
(This is a tough fight to call. Although he didn’t win, Sam Soliman, with his awkward style did show that you can penetrate Winky’s defense, if you don’t stand right in front of him, ala Trinidad. But, in his two fights with Hopkins, that’s exactly where Jermain Taylor was, and I didn’t see anything in Taylor’s style to make me believe he can beat an outstanding boxer like Wright. As I see it, Taylor will have to bull his way into Wright, and try to overpower him, but I think Wright is too smart to get sucked into a brawl. I look for “The Winksterâ€Â

BP, my man I think you know already who the W is rolling with. My main man WINKY!!! This guy is good and tonight I feel he puts on a wonderful performance of defensive skills and hand speed. He is just too hard to hit which is so frustrating for another fighter..

Winny Baby.. I am leaning Winny by Dec for a +190 ... but still not 100% yet ...
Fellas take a look at the KO #'s .. I mean its pretty emminent that Vegas thinks this will end in Decision over the 11.5 rounds ... Vegas will be paying out for a KO ...

i just have to think that, if he is the same fighter that destroyed my boy earlier (Tito), then he gets it done.
Million Dollar Question- how much of an impact is 6 wks with ES? Taylor is a bright dude and i think he was able to soak in plenty from the legend.
i say that i'm just going to watch a great fight and pull for Winky...

Ill agree fellas.. If Winky brings the same that he brought against TITO. I really dont see how he loses ... but You gotta believe that being with ES now, that a trainer as great as ES would look for holes in that fight and so forth... tough one man ... and in a sport where the Unexpected happens often, putting on the Under at such a nice return isnt a bad idea Taco ... Its almost better to just watch a good fight then worry about money on it haha... shit ... I still think Winky by Dec at a nice 190 return is a good bet ...

Winky by KO (+1500)
Went larger on to Win, and smaller on KO for the odds ... I dont be Large on this.. this is to ENHANCE Watching the fight!!!!! Lets GO WINKY !!!!!!!

Winky won this fight ... His defense just like Tito Frustrated Taylor .. but Taylor is the champ so the close fight is a draw... GREAT FIGHT.. but Winky won the fight....

Ive seen worse decisions in my life but would still like to have seen my boy come out on top. But boxing is boxing and now ticket prices will go up for Winky/Taylor....Ill still go with Winky...gnite gents, take a couple aspirin before bed...eases the hangover!
