Here's my fight card and reasoning:
FIGHT #1: ROLL ON JEREMY HORN -320 against Chael Sonnen. There is some dirty laundry in this fight and expect Horn to clean it. The ONLY person to stop Jeremy Horn was Chuck Lidell and that was precautionary. This MMA legend has over 100 fights in the octagon and Chael's only chance to win is by strikes. Horn will submit Chael by the 2'nd.

(this will cover my title fight bet if I lose)
FIGHT #2: ROLL ON MIKE "QUICK" SWICK +120. An upset special small time. Quick is coming off injury and has been downright nasty banging wins out in the 1'st round since he went pro in the octagon. No disrespect to Joe "Diesel" Riggs but the former heavyweight has dropped too much weight. Watch the fight and don't tell me this guy doesn't gas. This fight is an eye blinker..as in don't do it or you might miss the knockout. Both are gonna swing for the fences, my money is on the younger, hungrier Swick. Riggs is world class, but who has he beaten? All brawn, no brain and you'll see it in Swick's ability.

TITLE FIGHT:
We hit last UFC on a nice, nice +485 dog in Tim Sylvia. Same scenario, but different backgrounds. The Militch camp (Matt Hughe's camp) is kick ass in underdog role. But cmon, Royce is the man. Undefeated in the octagon and still competing. Don't let age or the winner of the first UFC fool you. He is in top shape and will give Hughes all he can handle and then some. It's a non title fight and it amazes me that Royce took it. What does that tell you? The best fighter of his era either has too much pride or thinks he can take Hughes. I WILL NEVER BET AGAINST ROYCE GRACIE as a dog. He's like a boa constrictor. Once he gets on you, he constricts until your limbs can't move. I think the world of Matt Hughes and think he would win a TITLE fight. But being an "exhibition" I'll back the fixed theory and say Royce wins this fight, Hughes defends successfully against GSP (George St. Pierre) and then we see a huge card when Royce fights Hughes for the title in 2007. You heard it here first. Our second straight upset in the title fight and the biggest fight in UFC history in 2007 when they rematch for the belt.
Careful matt, I want you to win this one and solidfy your position, but I have to bet on Gracie to get it done. Gracie jujistu is legendary if you follow the sport and Hughes is gonna learn first hand what it's like.
ROLL WITH ME ON ROYCE GRACIE +250 ML against Matt Hughes in the title fight.
Prediction: Gracie by submission in the 3rd period.

IM ALL OVER GRACIE, ALTHOUGH I THINK MY LAST CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY ON GRIFFIN WAS A CLOSE CALL VS TITO I SHOULD OF KNOWN BETTER BETTING AGAINST THE HOMETOWN BOY. I was in the UFC chat room and I love the fact that everyone thinks Hughes is easy. I WILL NEVER EVER BET AGAINST ROYCE AS A DOG. I would be absolutely amazed if Hughes knocked out Royce. Well man, enjoy it...here's my card again.

all for 3 units. Horn is my "cover" bet on the title fight. Man, I'm hoping for another Sylvia payday. And any chance Diego loses as a 550 favorite? Coming off of injury and he's rusty. Shit, you see what happened to Joe Stevenson (Ultimate Fighter Season 2 champ) He got punked badly. I don't know enough about Diego's opponent though. But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him lose.
Take care..can't wait for the Hughes/Gracie fight.
Question to V: If Gracie wins, does he get a shot at the GSP/Hughes winner for a belt? And personally, I still think BJ Penn is the best fighter at welterweight..Hughes has to cement his claim as the best by beating BJ and ultimate respect to Hughes because he wants Penn.
