Gotta rebound froma 1-2 NIT wed night.
Here it goes:
UCONN -20 over Vermont
- should cover by half
North Carolina -8 over Air Force
- UNC can handle the slowdown game with May eating them up in the middle
Michigan State -2.5 over Nevada
- Mich st will clamp them down for and keep them scoreless for at least one 5 minute stretch
Arizona -3 over Seton Hall
AZ has athletes - nto a great team, but I see them pulling this off.
Seeing these are all favs Maybe I'd throw in a dog with Princton +11.5 - though not a definitely for less bread. Just seems like lot of pts for a team that can keep scores in the 40-50's.

I knew I was in trouble when everyone bet the Dallas game up from 14.5 to 16, but I can't believe Dallas lost the game outright at home to the lowly Hawks. Another 3-1 night, though, makes me very happy. I received a couple gifts with the Indiana and Toronto wins, but I think you all know I was long overdue for some things to go my way.
Anyway, I have no plays for today. Let the fun begin with March Madness today! Good Luck!

My plays for the first day of the dance. I'm amazed at talking to so many of you and the popular 14-2 ATS stat last year for dogs in the first round seems to have been forgotten. A lot of favorites have been picked. Many of the games I'm playing today are going against the popular pick..which is great!!! Good luck and I hope you hit all your winners.
My plays and best bets:
Vermont+20 1/2...Vermont is a solid team and 20 1/2 is too many in the dance. Watch out Huskies, your gonna get backdoored on the cover.
Dayton+2 1/2: I'll take the A-10 over C-USA. Dayton wins outright today.
Manhattan +5 1/2: GTNP (who was hot last week) loves the Gators. I'm on the opposite end. I just don't see the Gators even winning this game. No inside presence, a quality guard in Roberson, but their scoring is terrible. This is a good game for the Gators in that the Jaspers don't play that strong a D, but watch, Gators got rolled by Creighton in the first round last year, it could happen again here. Gators win, but it will go down to the wire.
UTEP+6 1/2: Once again, Maryland plays an incredible ACC tourney and jumps way up in the seedings. Watch out for the rested Miners to come out and make life miserable for the young Terps team.
SIU+2 1/2: An early exit to the Valley tourney and an overconfident bama team leads to a first round exit for the Tide. Everyone is on Bama, and I don't care. Salukis cover or win SU>
SIU Under 134: Both teams plays good defense and first round jitters should slow down the scorers.
Good luck fellas, hope you all hit. Please notice all the dogs, I hope you guys haven't forgotten about last year or the stellar 5 year first day record of the dogs.

Well... I picked every game yesterday. Even the ones i didn't list won (OK and RU) except for tenn. they almost did it though., losing by 3.
here today's line up. I am just going to list every team that I like, and let you guys sort it out from there. No particular order of preference. i bet them all equally, so even an 8-3 day will be profitable.

What's up fellas$$$$ It has been a long time since I've posted in here, but it's tourney time!!!! I am out of my slump, been doing well lately, and have regained my confidence to post. I was 3-1 in the NIT last night (posted in chat room) and have been cleaning up in CBB. I will have to look up my last post to find my previous records.
Without further ado...
S. Illinois (+2) Best Bet
The Salukis (Best nickname in CBB) are the new Gonzaga, now that the Zags have gone primetime. This team has been here before and has experienced players, many of whom were on the team 2 years ago when this team went to the Sweet 16. Alabama is young up front and relies to much on these young players for scoring. Better and more Tourney tested guards will lead the Salukis to victory.

6-1 ats last night! Always nice to come into the tourney on a winning note! Will be playing most games so pick your favorite!! Just got to love Direct TV as they cover every game live for around 79 bucks!! (till sweet 16). First good luck to everyone on their picks this week, if my boss is reading this I am still very very sick with that flu thing should be ok by Monday! MANHATTAN +5- little scared as Jaspers are becoming a very public pick and Robertson is a great point guard(may be best in nation) but like the points here vs Fla. team that just have not put it all together.UTEP +6- just cannot see Terps not being a little flat today as they are still just a young team! They win but free throw shooting keeps this under the number! N.C.CHAR+1- Tech not great road team and have been slippin vs quality teams of late. Weak 3 point team ! BAMA -2- better team vs a popular So. ill. team Bama played best schedule in the country it pays off here! WAKE -12 at first leaning towards Commonwealth as this number range on the spot is usually a bad play but Mr Alpholden made me take a closer look and their size could be a major factor!! ST JOES-23- just got a feelin they will take the monkey off the back big time!! BYU +2 gut play just have a feelin!! Cuse line looks funny on paper this usually triggers my gut! STANFORD -25 lone 5:00 game dictates play(sick ask the X she will tell you) plus 20 lines tend to lean towards the fav and here I see a very bumpy ride for the Roadrunners!!
