All right, started off with an easy winner for the playoffs.

    PLAY #1: Cards/Pads over 7 -120 Gm 1..WIN 8-5 Final

PLAY #2: ROLL ON UNDER 9 in White Sox/Red Sox Gm 2: Buehrle and Wells must go.

I advocate the under in Game 2. Wells is a proven playoff pitcher and has been a great part of the Red Sox 2nd half success. Buehrle has been a well kept secret in baseball until the past 2 years. He works quickly and rarely allows the hitter to settle in. Look at these incredible #'s on Wells in the postseason....

10-3 with a 3.18 ERA in 25 appearances. He's allowed only 40 Runs in 113 career post season innings.

Throw in Buehrle's incredible quick delivery and low ball pitching and I think you see an easy under. Both teams will work and the Pale Sox aren't gonna jack it out of the yard again. A terrible call by Francona to start Clement over Arroyo in Game 1. All the MLB gamblers were scratching their heads (I know I was when I booked the over 8 1/2 total yesterday) when it was announced that Clement would go Game 1. Hell, I guess Francona likes playing from behind in the postseason. Anyways, Vegas, relax, your boys even it up today, and the under comes in for us as well.

PLAY #2 in the Postseason: ROLL ON UNDER 9 or under 9 1/2..it will probably go up..but I see 9+105 right now. I personally will wait until morning to see if it goes up to the hook for me. Have a good one all, I'm posting it at 9 runs as the total..feel blessed if you get the extra hook.

    I'm out...LET'S ROLL BOYS!

Hi fellas, I already bought the hype on the Astros winning the series with the Braves. I got the Astros at -115 to win that series. I just think that their pitching is better and doesn't atlanta have like 13-15 rookies?

Just curious if any of you guys think the Braves will take this series?

    'Stros seems good to me...

    peace.

    Montreal/Boston

The Montreal Canadiens are most likely one of the sharpest team as the 2005-2006 season begins. The team is going with the same core they had 2 years ago. The top two lines of the team are intact and it should translates into an edge over most teams in the first few weeks. Their star goalie was active last year playing oversea. The team is healthy, the team has good speed and had success in pre-season under new rules. Montreal will be very sharp this year in shootouts. Alex Kovalev, Pierre Dagenais and Tomas Plekanek are very good snipers one on one.

Boston is having some roster trouble. Top defenseman Nick Boynton is not signed, no 2 center Alexei Zhamnov has a shoulder injury and new winger Dave Scatchard (groin) will likely be out tonight. The Bruins will have to shuffle their top 2 lines if Zhamnov sits.

Chemistry looks to be the main factor here. I like Montreal chances tonight. I think they can take advantage of the situation. A decent price for the underdog.

    Taking Montreal (+138)

    Pitt/NJ

The two Scotty are gone in New Jersey. The NHL top defenseman is gone, a steady defensive rock captain is also gone. In are fading over 30 defensemen Vladimir Malakhov (36), Dan Mcgillis (33) and Richard Matvichuk (32). The Devils D will be tested this year. Devils top scorer Patrick Elias is starting the year on injured reserve, goal scorer Jeff Friesen was traded last week to make room under the salary cap. New comer Alex Mogilny (hip flexor) will be a game-time decision. Expect a rocky start.

Pittsburgh thinking big this year. Bunch of new comers. Youth and experience are there. Reliable former Hawks Jocelyn Thibault is the new no 1 goalie. Superstar Mario Lemieux looked decent in pre-season, rookie sensation Sydney Crosby and rookie Maxime Talbot start the season with the big club. Veterans Mark Recchi, John Leclair and Ziggy Palffy are new Pens. PP specialist Sergei Gonchar signed a big contract this summer. Pens will be very good on the PP with two solid units. Pittsburgh can challenge New Jersey tonight. Many Pens wanting to make good first impression tonight under big media coverage specially Sydney Crosby.

    Taking Pittsburgh (+135)

I am fired up today to go watch my Flyers absolutely SMOKE the Rangers tonight. I'm playing the puck line -1.5 (+110).

Also LOVE the Pens tonight. +140 is such a gift.

Rounding out the night with SJ +110.

Good luck tonight guys and we're off to a 3-0 start!
