The Playoffs are here. I'll post my series plays and my first round action today here in a little bit.
JDELT...gonna be an incredible playoff season. Over/Under on number of first round sereis to go to 7 games.....2 1/2

What a great time of year. I'm tellin ya, this playoff season will be one of the best ever with so much parity. Here's my two best bets:
New Orleans/Dallas under 193.
The Hornets are a great defensive team and Avery Johnson has built the Mavericks into a defensive team as well. This will be the first time we see defense played for 4 quarters in the NBA. I really advocate unders early in the playoffs because the overs have been hitting at a great rate this regular season. You'll see much more defense. Anyways, on to this game. The Mavs are happy to be playing the Hornets and not the Lakers and Dirk publicly said it in those words. Great bulletin board material for the Hornets defenders.

I agree with Jdelt. This series is going to be a war but I'll give the opening salvo to San Antonio. They always play great at home and are one of the few teams that can solve Shaq Fu defensively. This game won't be that tight. I think San Antonio pulls away in the 4'th and takes this game.

100.00 on both 8 seeds Denver and Atlanta
Hornets and spurs will cover the longshots but both Denver and Atlanta are hot. Celts and Lakers are the #1 seeds but it might be a little tougher than expected. I don't plan on hitting these but I'm willing to throw 200.00 away on the long shots..it keeps happening in the NBA...maybe this year will be no different.

Hornets to win the whole thing: 50.00 @ 25/1
Magic to win the whole thing: 50.00 @ 45/1
Spurs to win the whole thing: 200.00 at 5.65/1
I'm staying away from Detroit/Boston/Lake Show...this playoff season is so wide open that I'll take some long shots. Have a good one.

You always looking for a confrontation, huh? I see you always battling with someone. Why would PC even make that bet unless you give him phenomenal odds? The C's are in the garbage East and the Spurs are in a logjam Western Conference. Anyone can come out of the West.

Hmmm, where do I start?? Must of the "battling" that you see is good ol fun, shit-talking if you will with some guys around here. You see, many are "Boston" sports haters and do not like to be reminded that all FOUR major sports teams here have been in the post season (some winning and some losing!!) It is all in good fun, except for when I was wrong about ONE person and did apologize. Moving on......
As far as you jumping to the defense of PC...you should take a look at these...(Sorry to throw you in this PC, but these were publically posted so I figured you wouldn't mind)!!!

So the way I see it, PC would make that bet because HE SUGGESTED THAT BET!!!! Odds??? C'mon. Celts were a lottery team last year for chrit sake...The Spurs are for real and have proven it!
And as for the garbage East...I must agree!! Especially with the overratted CAVS in the East!!!!
LMFAO!! Keep up the good work JDelt and root for them Celtics!!! Haven't felt this way about them since the friggin 80's!!!

Thanks for gettin the back...I do like the spurs to take the whole enchilada so I threw that out there. The Celts still got exorcise some demons..and yes..I did lay on Atlanta at 35:1 with my local to win the series.
Now with that being said...thanks again JDelt and your still a homer Messy.
Pats cheated and they still couldn't win the Super Bowl.
Cowboy UP and the Gorilla Suit exit for Epstein are still part of Red Sox lore. Congrats on Papi finally getting on the scoreboard with teh grand salami.
