NBA Playoffs - Fri. May 30
Man, I'm kicking myself for laying off the Spurs last night. On to Game 6 of the Pacers-Heat series. I think the Pacers are lucky that LeBron was in foul trouble and sat for half of the game. That allowed George to get in an offensive groove in the second half. He did not have to expend as much energy on the defensive end. As I had expected, though, Indiana was the more aggressive and physical team in Game 5, winning the battle on the boards, getting to the free throw line three times as much as Miami, and creating more turnovers and converting them into points. But, after all that, the Pacers only escaped with a 3 point win with LeBron on the bench for half the game. A win is a win, but I don't think it bodes well for Indiana in Game 6. I wouldn't expect George to go off like that again, and I would expect James to play with passion and lead the Heat to a close out victory. It won't be an easy cover, but I believe Miami gets it done in the end.
