NBA Playoffs - Wed. May 21

Man, the Heat tried to give away the cover in the final 40 seconds of that game. These teams never make it easy on us! Lol! On to tonight's game. I want to believe that the Thunder can stay within the number tonight, especially after getting handled easily by the Spurs in Game 1. Can the Spurs completely dominate the paint again? Others have dominated the paint in some games in these playoffs, but no team had dropped 66 on another inside the key (and more than doubled the production of the other team's paint production). The Spurs shot 57.5% from the field, but many of those shots were high % shots (hence, PITP). San Antonio's ability to get into the lane or post up Duncan so easily opened up good looks from behind the arc (hence, 52.9% 3FG%). OKC also turned the ball over 16 times (almost doubling the Spurs' turnovers), which led to more fast break points for the Spurs. Despite the Thunder taking a brief lead in the third, I never had the feeling that they could win that game. San Antonio controlled that game, and pretty much, dominated the stats in this one. But, what will happen tonight? I'm thinking that OKC cannot be dominated like that in back-to-back games, but without Ibaka, it's apparent that this will be tough for the Thunder to overcome. Can they just outscore San Antonio in this series? Probably not. Something just doesn't feel right for me with this line in Game 2. The line is holding firm at 6, and has not budged at all. Public percentages are slightly in favor of OKC. I want to back the Thunder, but I'm going to stay away.

Opinion:
OKLAHOMA CITY +6
