NBA Playoffs - Sun. May 18
The Conference Finals are now upon us! The Pacers got what they wanted.....home court against the Heat! Can they do anything with it? We shall see. I was surprised to see Miami open as a small favorite in Game 1. I had expected Indiana to be the short favorite. It seems that the oddsmakers feel the public has lost all faith in the Pacers and has gained more confidence in the Heat. The public is smashing Miami in this first game, and I'm sitting here saying ok, I have value here. I was trying to read into the opening line. My first instinct said that the play was Miami because I don't believe they should be favored, and something didn't seem right. But, after further review, I believe Indiana is the play as the home dog. Sure, the Pacers have lost Game 1 in both of their previous series in this year's playoffs, but they are also 4-0 SU and ATS as a dog. I'm going against the grain in this one, and I expect Indiana to send a message to all that we are here to contend. I do still believe the Heat will win this series, but the Pacers have a chance if they play phenomenal ball throughout this series. Therefore, I believe a series play is well worth it. Indiana is undervalued on this series number, just as it was against Washington, and I just cannot pass on this number.
Play:
1* INDIANA +2.5
Series Play:
INDIANA +300 (1 unit to win 3 units)
