L.A. CLIPPERS +6.5 (SPECIAL PLAY) (The Clippers end their six game road skid and three game road ATS slide tonight)
CLEVELAND +6 (I like the Cavs to continue their recent lose one, win one trend)
L.A. LAKERS +8.5 (I'm sure most everyone loves the Spurs b/c of the coaching situation; the public is all over S.A.; I'll go against the public and take my chances with the home dog; if you like the Lakers, I would wait b/c the line will go up)

MINNESOTA +4.5 (nothing more needs to be said about this team; I got baited by the oddsmakers on this one)

SACRAMENTO -4 (lucky to get the push here; road favs. are my worst nightmare, yet I keep coming back for more; Phx & SA are probably the only two teams worth putting money on as road favs. on a regular basis)

Hmmm 1-0-1 for the night, and its gotta be said, lucky to get push in Sac.
As for Phoenix, they did ok - but how bad are TWolves. I am going to start paying some serious attention to their spreads from now on. They are a piss poor version of last year. Don't fade twolves, just pick against them. They are still being given spreads based on the last couple of years play, when in reality they are not far off the equivalent of last years Orlando - with KG playing TMac to a host of malcontents.
ATS Feb 2-4-1 (we'll work on this)
btw JD - super play on Boston last night.
Rolling with:
Clippers +6.5 (same as JD - this is a strong play I feel too)

& Spurs -8.5
I am parlaying these as I am very suspicious of Thursdays - I seem to do poorly on thursdays, but these look above average for a thursday - although I coulda sworn thats what I said last thursday...?

wow...miracle win with sacramento....got em at -3!! glad i waited to get it there...went to sleep and woke up to see they won by 4! about time something like that happened to me....anyways, since we have started a new month, i will reset my record..for those who care my record in december and january combined was 29-17 ( 63 % )..not too bad i dont think....anyways, here are the two top plays for me tonight...

I have way too much time on my hands - and like I said boredom is a gamblers best-friend/worst enemy...
starting to get a hard-on for the spurs tonight... One of my books has them -7.5 -120 and am about to be baited into it large.
looking at stats etc
Also, by some strange quirk, Spurs have had 2 days off, and are not playing again til a road game at Charlotte on the 8th! I had to double check and make sure the All-Star game wasnt moved up.
So Spurs have had 2 days to prep for this and have nothing else on their radar for 4 days after until they embark on a 6 game road trip over 9 days.
Spurs on 2days rest are 5-0 ATS
Spurs 3-1 ATS last 4 road games
Laks are 6-4 SU & ATS but if u look closely, 3 of those ATS wins came by <1pt and another came in by 2.5pts (not a big deal but that 6-4 could quiet easily be 3-7 or 2-8 ATS - dont crucify me for making this point - but its something I look at when examining ATS records)
Spurs are 15-8 ATS when <8.5pts favorites & LAKS are 8-9 as <8.5dogs
Spurs are 9-4 ATS on road vs +500 teams & 17-9 overall
Laks are 6-5 ATS home to +500 teams
Spurs only seem to suffer let downs vs supposed inferior opposotion (which I guess you could argue the lakers are - but theres still that rivalry that elevates the lakers in the eyes of the spurs)
Spurs in last 10 have been let down vs portland/clips/hornets - all avg teams; which is indicative of their ATS record against sub-500 teams of 11-9. whereas against +500 teams they are 18-9
Spurs -7.5 -120 is a definate play

Spurs -8.5 (wish I could hit it a point earlier)
UC Irvine +13 (Pacific hasn't been blowing people out should be an 7-9 point win for Pacific)
Arkansas Little Rock +1 (I always seem to do well when I bet on these guys)

Hello all, I guess I shouldn't be complaining after going 2-0 last night with K-State covering +9 at halftime and by school Saint Joe's winning by 33, a 20 point cover.
What I am mad about is my indecision to go heavy with a 401K buster pick (meaning I'd need to take a loan from my 401K if I lost) on this game. It was as much of a lock for them to cover as it was for Kansas to blow them out only laying 14 at home vs. SJU in November!!! Next time I'll be ready.
In any case, tonight I'm looking at another first half pick, only this time I'm leaning towards the favorite, UNC -9 vs. NCST. UNC has averages a 1st half point differential of 20 at home this season. Take that to the BANK.

St. Mary's Cal +10
Washington -15.5

What's good fellas! I found this gem early, and am sending it out a little earlier than on the norm! I want u to attack this + the points while they stand! It's been a nice run this week as we've gone 3-0 on last 3 posted (wins on Creighton, Mizzou, and Okie State under last night). Tonight I'm hopping over to the NBA. I really like the under in the Cavs/ Heat game tonight. Miami will play slow, and an ailing cavs team will not want to run after going toe to toe with Orlando. This game should be an easy under. Don't be fooled by the stats and trends. When these two teams hook up,it's usually a low scoring game. Factor in that Miami and the Cavs have both been on the overs lately, and I see a Shaq fu dominated game with neither team breaking the century mark. Also, look at the guard matchups. Wade and Lebron (if he plays which he should) are both good defensive players. Shaq will force the Cavs to rely on an outside game and Gundy is the master of the new NBA zone defense. I like the under and will roll with it tonight.

before i go posting today i want to give everyone a heads up and watch out for utep -6.
this smells like a trap. look for public betting and line movement. i've seen this happening a lot recently where on the surface it looks like blow out central. just a quick heads up on this game. (no offense jivany, i know you posted this play bro). be back later with my plays.

What's up fellas$$$$ I knew I was in big trouble last night when I heard my bad luck song on the radio. Next thing I know the Pacers are blowing a 10 point lead, Wake Forest allows Duke to get two offensive rebounds and get off three 3-pointers before Reddick nails the last one to get inside the number, and Carmelo Anthony is shooting like 0/16 from the field. Oh well, it was just one of those nights. Overall I went 4-6 with my Best Bets going 1-3. Here's what I got for tonight.

Working late this week so had to find good late game:
1) San Francisco (-5) - Pepperdine is 0-6 ATS last 6 games, 2-8-1 ATS on the road, and 6-12-1 ATS for the year. San Fran is 4-2 ATS last 6.
