Taking UMass (-2). Think line is low because they last won an OT game at SBU, who is awful, while UR won a road game by 7 at La Salle, who isn’t good either. However in UR’s game vs La Salle (5-12, 1-5 and with 7 scholarship players), they actually trailed 71-70 with under a minute left before winning 78-71. Other than beating La Salle, UR’s only other road win this year came in their opener vs. SHU. UR’s road A-10 games are: L by 23 at Fordham, L by 1 at Dayton, L by 24 at Xavier, and W by 7 at La Salle. UMass has beaten some decent teams this year (UConn, Xavier, GW) and Lappas says the team goes as Freeman goes. Last year as a freshman, Freeman went for 27 and 7 as UMass only lost 69-65 on the road to a good UR team.
Of course, I’m 0-2 in picking against the Spiders this year and 10-14-2 in my overall posts. GL whatever you play.

TONITE there is a Boxing Card! I am a heavy boxing fan and thought of giving u this little tip! Most of us especially with up winnings may throw a multi-team parley. Tonight I say skip that and put the same amount on one of the DOGS tonight! As u know BOXING is a sport where "ANYTHING" happens on a weekly basis! I've made good money myself on several upset dogs! Tonight GATTI is fighting LEIJA. I personally am a fan of GATTIS, I love to watch his fights, BUT here is the catch.... Tonight he is a -700 Favorite when Leija is a +500 DOG. Gatti thou a WARRIOR in the ring, gets hit ALOT! He has absolutely NO DEFENSE! Thou he prob will win this fight, there is chance of anything happening and Gatti going down! Not a smart bet but neither are most parleys! SKIP the parley and hit up the DOG here for the chance to 5X ur money! Who knows maybe u'll thank me! ha! GL ONLY do this if u have a little money that u are willing to lose, NOT A SMART BET! Consider this and play this as a multi team parley or a prop bet!

I'm rollin with two dogs today in the Valley. As some of you know, my home computer crashed (A Virus from a Comcast fraudalent email with this message: Account Expiration Update...DO NOT OPEN THIS EMAIL, IT's FROM COMCAST AND IT CRASHED MY COMPUTER WITH A NASTY VIRUS)I currently can't retrieve any files from that computer...and that includes the record keeping..I am so sorry, I'll try to update them as I can. SLAM has done the last week though to help me out. I apologize again for not backing up what I said I was going to do. If I can retrieve the info out of the hard drive I will have the stats posted when I get them. And for those that email me, my email is dead on that 'puter too.
Anyways, my hoops for today:
Big XII GOW: I'm very impressed with OU's recent run against top 25 teams and the way they have played. However, I'm still buying into the fact that the Hilton coliesum in Ames is one of the toughes places to play in the country. I will back the Clones at home as they have only lost 4 times in the last 44 games there.
I'm on Iowa State as my Big XII GOW @ +6.
Mo Valley Reg Play: I'm backing the Jays at SW MO state to cover the +6. There's no way that SW MO is 7 points better than the Jays. They have a low scoring offense and predicate their style of play on defense. In a slow paced game, Altman can run the Jays with this style of half tempo offense.
Play on Funk and the Jays to cover the +6 @ SW Mo State.

Quick note: Man, I read Vegas's post. Although our boy might rant and rave here and there, I can't believe people would jump him for posting plays. He's proved to me that he can cap or produce winners from another source. If you don't like his play, throw it away. I, for one, appreciate his posts and have won money on some of them, and lost money on some of them. V...thanks for the posts bro, I do appreciate them win or lose.

Here are my bets so far, will have more later:
1) Kentucky (-2.5) - Kentucky 9-4-1 ATS and 5-2 ATS on road.
2) Ohio (-4.5) - Ohio 6-0 ATS at home and 10-2 ATS overall
3) Louisiana St (+2.5) - LSU 6-2 ATS at home and 9-1 straight up at home.
4) Bulls (-7) - Boston sucks on road going 1-9 ATS last 10 on road. Bulls still hot ATS 17-7 last 24.

Vegas man it's unbelieveable that there are still haters here. You have made a lot of people money but yet some people still follow picks blindly with no research of there own.
I have not posted a whole lot but when people complain about your picks it burns me up.

Went 1-2 so far in NCAA hoops losing 2 close ones in Kentucky & Ohio. Here are my night NCAA games:
1) Wisc-Milwaukee (-4.5) - Mil won by 30 at home on 1/15 against Wisc-GB 2 weeks ago. Wisc-Mil is 8-1 ATS on the road.
2) UTEP (-3) - Louisiana Tech is 4-9 ATS overall.
3) Syracuse (+2.5) - Orange is 6-2 ATS on the road. Pitt 1-7 ATS last 8 games.
