GotPicks Series of Poker - Season #1
Okay fellas. We will be running the first set of weekly tournaments on Poker Stars. If you do not have a poker stars account yet, go ahead and start getting set up. Please use gotpicks.com as the referral id when you sign up [Edited: actually just use following URL http://www.pokerstars.com/?source=gotpicks.com]. The referral commission will be used for the trophy and prize for the Season #1 champion.
For now, we will run one tournament a week for 15-20 weeks. They will be $20+2 tournaments (they could also be $30+3 or even higher, but I thought we should start at 20+2. feedback is welcome). $20 is for the tournament prize pot (going to the top few places of the tournament) and $2 going to Poker Stars for running the tournament.
For the league rankings, everyone will get a score based on where they placed in the tournament. Only your top 8 scores of the season will be used for your final ranking. This way you can skip a few of the tournaments without hurting your ranking. The score for each tournament will be calculated with the formula below:
((x-y)/x) * 100 = Score (x=players, y=place)
We still need to figure a few things out such as Day and Time. I will set up a poll for this. Also when do we start? I am ready!!! So when we get a few peeps signed up and ready in Poker Stars we'll run a test tournament to kick this think off. Get your sunglasses on baby

I think a sunday night game or wednesday night game would be great....sunday most of us are sitting around with not much to do, or wednesday that way we could bullshit about College baskets games as we play....I'm up for whatever...

bozo> party poker doesn't have the private tournaments feature bro. Otherwise, we would use them as I already have a funded account with them.
