Thoughts on this weekend's games.

Pats -2

A great game. What this game comes down to for me is what KIND of game it will be. The only kind of game I see the Colts winning against the Patriots in Foxboro is a runaway, or at least a comfortable victory. And that's not gonna happen.

There’s a couple of things that I think are being missed when the first time these teams played this year is brought up. Number one, the Patriot’s rookie nose guard, Vince Wilfork, has improved quite a bit since the first game, which was his first game in the pros. New England’s run defense was simply outstanding as the year progressed. You can essentially throw out the Pittsburgh game, because Law went down during the game. Anytime changes have to be made on the fly, it can be misleading. In that instance, the secondary needed help, the run defense suffered, it was a mess. (A similar situation occurred in the 4th quarter of last year’s super bowl, when the Pat's secondaryâ€â€

  1. I like Indy+1.5 just like everybody else. Line opened at Ne -2.5. In the playoffs last year the line opened at ne-4. In week 1 line opened at ne-3. Now it's only -2.5? Sounds like a trap. Indy is playing much better. NE hasn't played any good teams of late. Something that is overlooked is Indy's defense. They get big leads with peyton, and I thinks thats why the defense gives up some late points and yards. I would like to see a stat on their defense in the first half of their games. It seems a little to easy and the public is on Indy which is the only thing that scares me.

I like Atl now at -6.5. The public is all over the Rams. The fact that vick and the starters haven't played in 2 weeks might not be that big a factor. The falcons defense is much better than the seahawks defense. Atlanta in a blowout.

Minny +9. This is a tough one. The public likes minny. Philly didn't cover their last two games i believe. Usually the teams that don't cover their last two regular season games do well in their first playoff game as was the case last week (3-1ATS SeaL,NyJ W, Indy W, Min W) But its tough to pass up the points. I don't know if i will bet this game.

Pit-8.5. Another tough one. Jets third game on the road. Public on the Jets. Pitt should be pumped up.
