PC NFL Post season

I'm playing both games today:

Cincy @ Houston:

We went 3-0 ATS last week and one of those plays we have been nailing all year, the over in Cincy games. I am taking the over again today. Cincy has a gaudy record on the over and I think AJ Green and Dalton are going to connect for at least one big one today. This game would normally be a run first defensive struggle but I don't see it. It's on turf, indoors, and feature playmakers on both sides of the ball.  I have to take the over today.

Detroit @ New Orleans:

I'm laying the 10 on New Orleans. Detroit has talent but man New Orleans is clicking. Sure the game could be and should be a shoot out, but Detroit is new to the dance and the Saints have been here before. It might be a game for a half, but in wild card weekend the home favs usually cover the chalk. There's a reason this line is high. I'm riding Drew and the hot Saints to torch the Lions in round 1.

    2-0 ATS yesterday, 5-0 ATS run.

    Here's what I got today:

    I think the Pitt/Denver game has a lot of opportunity. I look at this game and feel that it's just too many points for a home dog. Denver can't score but they can play defense. I'm taking Denver and the under.  The Broncos are a very good defensive team and Pittsburgh is obviously limping. Rothelsberger is hurt but playing, Mendenhall is out and Redman has not been an effective backup.  The Broncos are going to run, run, run.  Champ Bailey should be able to shut down 1/2 of "young money" and I think the Broncos are going to defend against the pass more than they are against the run. I think Denver can get some action offensively and hoping that I don't need Tebow to be Tebow to get the cover.  This game will be smashmouth and I'm backing the dog and the under.

    Atlanta @ New York

    The whole world is on the Giants, but not me. Atlanta has all the tools to give the Giants fits today.  They boast a solid running game, talented receivers, a good QB, a solid defense and everything needed to pull the upset today. Everyone is talking about the Giants and how this team could mirror the previous super bowl champs but I don't see it. They might win, but I will take the 3 and run.  The Giants still have some glaring weaknesses. Eli can be Eli and the Falcons defense should give him trouble. The corners for Atlanta are much better than the Cowboy's corners and I don't expect Eli to have the field day he had last week.  Could be a little bit of a letdown after qualifying for the playoffs in an emotional game last week. I think Atlanta is going to make it happen today.

    1-2 last weekend. Just one today:

    4**** on under 47 in San Fran/New Orleans. The saints will slow down the Niners. I also think that New Orleans is not going to move the ball like they normally do on the grass against one of the NFL's best defenses. That's all I got for NFL today.

    One to throw out for today.........

    * * *  S.F. + 3.5 * * *

    This has been the most consistant team and certainly Defense all year long.  Everyone who's in love with the Saints (hey I like them as well) are going to end up heart broken as this Niner team is both dangerous and laying and waiting on Brees and company. Seconday, pass rush, and a stone wall rush def. will be READY for N.O. who'll have their hands full today.  A week to prepare for their coaching staff will only frustrate Brees and the boys. I look for S.F. to continue thier boring run,conservative and wait for the Saints to make the mistakes.......and they will!

    The better teams for the most part will win in the post season and this will hold true today as well.........S.F. is the better overall team, getting points at home, I'll take them !

    * * *  S.F. +3.5  * * *

    GLTA  if you play!

    Good Luck,

    I'm taking the Packers today. I hear a lot of noise about the Giants making a run again but I'm still convinced that Eli is not superman and that no one can stop this Packers offense. The first game was close, but where was it played? The defense for Green Bay also has something to prove. I'm on the Pack today.
