MLB POst Season

Game 1:  I am all over Matt Moore and the Rays in Game 1. Guys, I'm telling you, this kid can pitch, I mean lights out. The only question is whether or not the pressure will get to him. He started in class A ball and I have followed his career and had the pleasure of seeing him pitch in Alabama during his minor league stint. He struck out 11 Yankees in his last game out. No one has seen him and that's a huge advantage. I really think this line is so far off I'm going 3 stars on a huge dog. Watch the magic (hopefully!)

Moore must start for action or it's a no bet.


 


Milwaukee/Zona over 7 -115


Gallardo is a stud, but so is the offense of Milwaukee. I think this game could go either way in terms of an easy over or easy under, but I'm backing the over. This is the Dbacks first time in the playoffs since Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling were pitching. Kennedy is good, but I don't think he can handle the pressure of the Brew Crew bats. I also think Zona is scrappy enough to get at least 2 runs.


PC 2** on Zona over 7 -115


Lean on Detroit as a dog against CC and the Yanks. But I won't bet against Big Slim at home in game 1.

  1. PC, what are the odds on TB filling out their stadium this series? They should be embarrassed, empty stadium for those last few games. The few fans there were all yankee fans, lolz.

  6. I hate Ozzie but a closet Marlins fan behind my Royals. I'm worried that a guy like Ozzie will ostracize the white players like he did in Chi town. He plays favorites but maybe he can get guys like Hanley and Omar to realize their true potential. It's a good risk for Florida, but man, I just don't like the cat.
