VEGAS, thanks for posting the TT/CAL Over. It was the nudge I needed to pull the trigger!
I was likin' ASU but read this:
ASU dismisses leading rusher
El Paso, TX (Sports Network) - Arizona State running back and leading rusher Hakim Hill has been kicked off the team for a violation of team rules.
The junior was suspended on Sunday night, just hours after the team arrived in El Paso, Texas for its upcoming bowl game versus Purdue.
Hill has had a troubled past. In his high school days in Iowa, he was arrested three times and was also suspended for one game earlier this season for an altercation with the ASU strength and conditioning coach.
On 122 carries this season, Hill has ran for 566 yards and five touchdowns. He also reached the end zone one time through the air this year.
Rudy Burgess is expected to start in Friday's Sun Bowl in the place of Hill.
The Arizona State offense will also be without starting quarterback Andrew Walter in the Sun Bowl. His terrific collegiate career ended prematurely due to a separated right shoulder in the regular-season finale, a 34-27 loss to Arizona.
Walter ends his collegiate career at or near the top of every major statistical category in school history. This season he threw for 3,150 yards and 30 touchdowns. For his career, Walter is tops in school history with 85 touchdown passes and 10,617 yards.

Had a great bowl day (4-1 ATS posted) but a sub par hoops day at 1-2 ATS. Here's my card for today. My Big XII GOY will be out early tomorrow morning. I don't have a line yet but as soon as I do I will post my write up in this game. Until Then, I have a Mo Valley GOW for today and I'm placing a large wager on one bowl game in particular today. JT Money and I have been talking about it for a month now. Anyways, here's what I got:
YTD HOOPS RECORD:
NBA Sides 27-14...
NBA totals: 21-15... lost on Nets under
Mo Valley Reg Play: 4-1-1 ATS
Mo Valley GOW: 2-2-1 ATS
BIg XII Reg Play: 4-3 ATS Lost on Zags @ Mizzou
Big XII GOW: 3-2 ATS lost on K State
Out of Conference Specials: 3-1 ATS...hit On Utah State
Bowl Games Record:
7-2 ATS on Posted.
JTMoney and PC's strong play: ( I think JT is still on this game..where ya at player?)..Purdue -8.
Here's my bowl card for today:
Purdue -8
Bama +1 (Wolfman pray tell me, where did you find Bama +3...hook a brother up)
Boise State +11...I think you guys are way off on Lville. Don't believe the hype, Boise might win this game outright. Don't believe me, ask all the Cal fans out there. Same situation..two potent offenses and one big favorite. Boise can play with anyone that doesn't have a monster defense..and we all know Lville isn't exactly an Oklahoma on the defensive side of the ball.
Canes-4...CANES WILL DESTROY FLORIDA TONIGHT.
I'm equal on all four of these at 5 units apiece.
Mo Valley Reg Play:
Evansville+13 at Wichita State. I love both of these teams with the stark contrast in styles. Let's not forget Creighton went into Omaha and beat the Bluejays on their home turf. Coach Turgeon (a former KU player) is in his 5'th season at Wichita State and has the boys primed for a run. Jamar Howard (from Bishop Miege in KC) has been the new sparkplug on this team and they now have 4 badasses who can score. But I think this line is too high. Evansville can play, and as much as I hate going against the Shockers, I have to roll with the dog in this Mo Valley Matchup.
Play on the Evansville Purple Aces @ +13
NBA Side Play: Houston -6 1/2 at home against Milwaukee. Yao shuts down the inside and T mac makes it happen with newly acquired Wesley against the talented perimeter of Milwaukee. I like the Rockets and would take them up to -9 in this game.
Good luck all, I'll be back as soon as I see a line on the GOY for New Year's Day. Take care and slam the man.
New Year's Eve parleY:
Boise State +11
Canes -4
Purdue -8
Purdue over 56
Bama +1
Good luck, if I hit this parley, you won't see me in the chat until at least 1/2 time of the cotton bowl. Take care and look for that GOY..it goes off early on New Year's Day. I'm out. I would tell you to be safe tonight, but what's the point. Let's go out, tear it up, and hope those flashing lights aren't in the rearview of the limo tonight.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just for the Record...PC 7588 is undefeated in 2005!!!

I was dead wrong yesterday! Seattle and Miami both ripped my ass up! I guess that's what you can expect out of the Hawks (another bad performance). I am an idiot for touching that particular game. As for Detroit, another fourth quarter debacle by one of my teams. Where was this team the last seven and a half minutes of the game? No field goals made and just two points in seven and a half minutes. Someone make a shot somewhere. Miami's defense is not that good to shut anyone down for that long. This season is far from over, so I wouldn't put Miami in the Finals just yet. But as for San Antonio, you can just give this team the title right now. No team is in the class of the Spurs. Phoenix found that out the other night. Seattle got them twice so far, but those were just situational wins. Wait until these two teams play again in late January when Seattle's jump shots stop falling. This team will get tired soon enough. Although it's a small bet, I am looking forward to collecting my cash on my futures bet on the Spurs in Vegas over the summer.
For those who faded me yesterday, good for you b/c I stunk out the joint. Here we go for today:
HOUSTON -6.5
Waiting for Phi-Den line
Yesterday: 0-2
Losses:
ATLANTA (SPECIAL PLAY)
DETROIT
Season Record: 82-74-4 (52.56%)
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

NCAA-F: 1-0 yesterday (BC -1, booo-yah), YTD (2-1-0)
Min/Bama will be a battle ground this morning. Expect a low-scoring game. The Gophers mediocre D will be able to hold Bama's weak O, while on the other side Minny won't be able to do much against the solid D of the Crimson Tide.
Min/Bama under 47.5
Purdue will smoke Zona St. today. Orton is healthy and will put up big #'s, while the Boilermaker D will do their job against a team with a backup QB and tailback!
Purdue -8
Need a third play!! I'm debating between MIA and L'VILLE - who's the better cover??

1-1 Yesterday. VT misses their first 12 shots and goes 8-21 from the FT line, yet MSU still only beats them by 6.
I couldn't narrow down these 4, so I'll post all of them and see what happens:
Loyola Md. (+20) - Princeton's largest output this year was 61 and they avg. 52 ppg
UAB (-9) - lot's of points on the road, but why not
Wofford (+12')
Oregon (-8)
CBB: 1-1
