Just got done with my second run through, analyzing videos of the prep races and look who's moved up -
19 Nehro 9.29 15 Midnight Interlude 9.14 1 ArchArchArch 9.10 8 Dialed In 8.76 17 Soldat 8.51 13 Mucho Macho Man 8.46 Midnight Interlude is a great play - Take a look at the Santa Anita Derby stretch run where Midnight Interlude has to check up, loses a length and a half and still wins - Impressive.
I will be playin the 19 - 15 - 1 - 8 in some fashion
The Contenders -
#19 - Negro - I mean Nehro - Nice strong horse closing very strong and finishing 2nd the last two times out and will love the extra furlong to close the deal.
#15 - Midnight Interlude - The one draw back here is that it has been over 20 years since the Santa Anita Derby winner has won the Roses. If anyone can break this slump it would be Baffert.
#1 - ArchArchArch - Gotta love the name - sounds like a dog barking. He and Nehro had a great battle in the ArkArkArkansas Derby.
#8 - Dialed In - Good News is with Uncle Mo shitting himself and scratching, there is one less horse to pass - Bad news is there are still 18 horses to pass and he will be coming from dead last - How far up he gets is the question. At 4-1 odds, not a ton of value here, but you may need him in exotics.
Best Longshot - #16 Animal Kingdom - This colt should be the easiest to sot on your HD TV - I believe this colt is actually Orange in color.
Best Mudder if track is SLOPPY - #17 Soldat - Highest Beyer in the field (since Uncle Mo scratched) with a 103 on a sloppy track and a 10 length win.

Lots of people jumping on the #15 and I know some experts are blasting the Santa Anita Derby and predicting the California Prep was a joke - Hmmmmmm! - The price for #15 may fall into the single digits.
Thinking about playing Soldat a bit and hope he has a bounce upward after that shitty Florida Derby Performance.
I need to eliminate one of these other suckers -
19-1 EX may be my biggest play with a bit of 19-15 & 19-8 in there
Will ride a 19-15-1 TRI and a 19-8-1 TRI

Hope someone had the sense to take the longshot with Nehro - $2 got you $330 on an exacta. I did not do so, but I did have $100 across the board on Animal Kingdom and $600 across on Nehro - So not too bad.
