SVCS FOR WED
aaa sports (not to sure if its his write-up but here we go ..lol)
NCAAF: Memphis Tigers at Bowling Green Falcons - Memphis +3 -110
Game Date: 12/22/2004
Note: Motivation is the key tonight. Who in the hell wants to play their bowl game in rainy, windy, cold weather? I thought that a Bowl game was meant to be a reward for good play. Not punishment!! Forecast calls for rain and lot's of wind. Wind gusts up to 30 mph!! MEMPHIS WANTS TO PLAY THIS GAME!!! Tommy West just got an extention to his contract and the Tigers have a chance at a Top 25 finish and 9 wins. This game is huge! Bowling Green is lucky to be anywhere and are somewhat letdown from not playing in the Motor City Bowl. The weather tonight plays right into the Tigers hands. D'Angelo Williams might be the best running back in the country and has superior balance. This field tonight will be to his liking. Memphis with much more balanced offense attack. The Falcons rely almost totally on the work of QB Omar Jacobs who threw an incredible 36 TD's this year. One must be able to run the ball tonight to win. Here are a couple of interesting facts. Memphis is 11-1 ATS against teams that average more than 425 yards per game. Bowling Green is 1-6 in the same scenerio. Bowling Green is a dismal 3-10 ATS against teams with a winning record!!! Say what!!! Tigers Big Tonight!
