Syracuse vs. Pitt

What a game, two top 5 teams at hostile Pitt arena where the Panthers are 50-1 in their last 51 home games. I'm taking the under in this game. Both teams can put up droves of points, but Syracuse's famous matchup zone should slow down this team. Joseph, Cuse's leading scorer is also out for this contest. The pub is hitting up the over but the line is going the opposite direction. I checked out both team's defense and when they play a team in the top 50 RPI, their defense is stellar. This could turn into a slugfest from 3land, but I think the defense of both teams, and an anticipated close game will cause an under.

UAB @ East Carolina

Tough to not take the Blazers tonight. UAB is 4-0 in their last 4 trips to East Carolina and they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games. UAB is coming off a loss Saturday @ Tulsa and flew straight to Greenville on Sunday so they are settled in and did not travel on Monday which I think was a smart move. ECU has been impressive in spots (losing by 3 at memphis) but also been pretty pathetic with a 2-5 mark in their last 7 games. UAB (my home team now that I live in Birmingham)  is a second half team. Don't fret if they are losing at half, they always come out smoking 2nd half. In fact, if we are down at half don't be afraid to lay some timber on the 2H line as this team is very good in the 2nd half of games. I have watched them quite a bit and they impress me in how they adjust under Coach Davis this year. I'm a little worried because the line is so low, but it's moving in the right direction as tip approachs.
