Gotta love an injury in the NBA. Wade goes down, and bookies run for the hills, all except mine. Posting SA -6.5, I laid half my profits on the game and was very happy with the line.
But what really made my day was when just before throw in, the line jumped from 10.5 to 11.5, and that was just too big a line not to take on Miami, so I took the other half of my profits and backed miami, and the rest is history i guess... so really I should be 9-4...?
Tonight, same bookie (god bless their soul) have Eagles -5.5, albeit at their skiny starting price of -125. I have taken it for a medium wager.
I cant honestly say that I am overly confident about Philly, as there appears to be no shortage of folks backing them, which always worries me. I have yet to see a single post backing the Cowboys (maybe if line goes to 7.5?) And all the pro spread callers are lumping in with Mcnabb & Owens. Will Parcells tongue lashing have any effect ... ya never know, lets just hope that the thing about anyone winning on any given sunday is just that... on sunday. Home advantage Cowboys is also a big thing and they'll have seen the Steelers blitz like crazy last week and may attempt that themselves (but if the Philly coaching staff cant figure out a couple of easy screens to bypass that then they are dumb!), but my key swinging factors are as follows:
Under Andy Reid Eagles 12-1 prime time, 7-1 on MNF
Philly vs Dallas, 8-2 SU and 7-2-1 ATS
Cowboys 1-4 ATS Last 5 (but then Eagles are 0-3 ATS last 3!)
Both are 2-2 ATS home/away
Philly 5-0ATS vs NFC teams this year, Dallas 2-3
Both teams have played against teams with a combined record of 37-35 - going with the 7-1 team though!
and both teams have near identical stats - but going with the one that actually converts those stats to the only stats that count - points on the board!

Welcome back college hoops. I've waited patiently for the garbage games to get done. Tonight marks the start of the real games in my book.
Missouri Valley Game tonight:

The Sycamores are a young team who play great defense. They boast 2 seniors on their roster, one of which is a bench warmer. Marquette loves to run, but being their first real home game, I see nerves. Illini State plays a great 2-3 matchup zone that they tried to clone from the Cuse. It cuts down perimiter shooting and forces inside possession and scoring.

just want to say sorry to anybody that took my plays with me this weekend and lost. i finished -2 units for the week but i also gave back 17 units. doh!!!!!
anyways, right now i'm leaning towards dallas just cause pub is on eagles right now but its early in the day.

fellas looking at the college basketball games tonight and i can't say that anything really stands out to me. i feel like taking every underdog tonight for 100 bucks. i think the lines are too high. gl all be back in a bit if i see anything different.

ok fellas after further review i think coll. of charleston +6 is the best play out there. four of last season's starters for col. are gone including three that averaged double digits.
i'm also gonna take the ml on this one as they might just win outright but i'll bet more with the points.
another game i looked at is missouri over brown -20. brown is playing without their best player jason forte. he's by far their best player for them. i know this cause i made a killing betting on brown last year in the ivy. the only thing that stops me from this game being a large play is pub % and quinn snyder's tigers are rebuilding themselves.

Heartbreak Sunday yesterday! But as soon as "THE FIGHT" broke out just before the Steeler game I could not get to Caribs account fast enough! Let me suck the BBQ off my fingers first...LOL...How about those HIGH FLYING EAGLES baby...DALLAS has been flat all year...PHILLY has a bad day in PIT and they're now overrated?
