    Damn.  I was so close to taking the Nuggets last night, and something held me back.  The Nuggets are going to be a serious contender again this year.  Legitimate shot to win it all.

     

    And I have to make a comment about something else because I thought it was pretty funny.  I was talking to my buddy, who knows his NBA, on Thurs., and I mentioned to him that the first coaching casualty is going to be Byron Scott (not knowing that he was fired that afternoon).  He responded immediately that Scott had been fired earlier that day.  I almost dropped to my knees because I wish there was somewhere I could have placed a wager on something like that.
