I am passing today. A few games were worth a look, but no need to play here after a solid day yesterday.

    Yesterday: 4-1

1-0 Gold Plays (Win on WASHINGTON +11.5; I had no business winning this game, but it's about time I catch a break on a huge play (or better yet, on any play)

1-0 Large Plays (Win on MEMPHIS)

2-1 Average Plays (Win on SACRAMENTO; Win on ORLANDO; Loss on NEW ORLEANS)

    Season Record: 9-4-1 (69.23%) (+6.5 Units)

    1-0 Gold Plays (+3.0 Units)

    1-1 Large Plays (-0.2 Units)

    7-3-1 Average Plays (+3.7 Units)

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!

A solid day yesterday, albeit a close call with Washington. Lakers proved out to be well deserving winners, although I couldnt believe that the line actually moved in their favour as the day went on!

yesterday 2-0ATS but was sunk with one of my ML plays - Phoenix came through yet again, and killed the line, but Portland... well I have to either re-evaluate my rating of Portland or the Nets... or both. So 1-1 SU.

So ATS record is 6-2 - I'd nearly convince myself to play big the way I am calling it but I know better!

Today, I could say there are half a dozen that no-one could call ATS - they're all very trappy. So going with the only 2 plays that I can call with any kind of confidence... Its last nights heroes, Phoenix -4 and Lakers +4

Phoenix are just proving that they can beat everyone with speed - speed kills, well in this case, they are just going to be too quick and too good for the Cavs. LeBron played a full 48 mins last night to help the Cavs register their first win, against ... Atlanta! He had to play a full game cause no one else is doing it, and it was only Atlanta! What hope do they have here then!? It seems obvious, but I'm taking it Phoenix -4.

As for the Laks... well Memphis are just so shite at the moment! can you believe that they have now lost 14 straight games going back to the tail end of last season?! I'd certainly forgotten that, and I certainly wouldnt be in a hurry to go aginst the Lakers.

Both these games are still trappy, and they wouldnt be my most confident play, but I generally dont rate plays, apart from to say that I always keep my stakes to a minimum, so if I lose, I aint losing sleep, so if you play my picks or if they affect your decisions, then it aint my problem!

    TCU +25

This game will be alot closer than the odds makers expect. TCU has consistantly matched up well against this conference rival for the past few years winning all the games outright dating back to 2001.

TCU is 2-0 against the spread versus LOUISVILLE over the last 3 seasons

TCU is 2-0 straight up against LOUISVILLE over the last 3 seasons

2 of 2 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons

One Big play on European basketball - I have a very strong leaning towards this. I follow EuroLeague basket ball very closely the past few seasons and this is a solid play.

Opel Skyliners @ Benetton Treviso -15.5 -125 though

Opel are poor - very poor. They only just got a new coach in the last month and lost their 2 best players from their championship winning team of last year. Btw their championship win broke Alba Berlin's run of 7 straight titles. So they are not the most dominant team in germany - they kindsa came out of nowhere to win lge.

Whereas benetton are top dog in a very competitive italian lge. Benetton have lost a very good player in garbajosa since last year but they have recruited some excellent players to replace him. Incl one of the olympics best players - lithuanian shooting guard Siskauskus, and PG from france that was drafted #50 by Philly 76ers only they didn’t agree contracts.

Benetton lost by a point to CSKA away last week 89-90, and CSKA would be one of the best in Europe along with Maccabi. Benetton would be the type of team that looks upon getting to the final 4 as their target every year and having not made it by a hairs breadth the last 2 years they regards that as major failure. They would be just behind cska and maccabi for the top tier of european basketball. They missed out on points diff to make final 4 last year

Opel lost at home to Ulker (Turks) by 30 points, 52-82. Ulker would be a decent side and just a little bit worse than Benetton. Opel had 2 starters that didn’t even score. Only one player got in double figures.

FYI Benetton beat Alba Berlin twice last year , the #1 german team for the past 10years, 91-65 at home, and 70-86 away from home.

The handicap on this game is anywhere between 15.5 and 17.5points.

They will win by 20-30 if not more. Some books not quoting it.

Bennetton are tied for top spot in Italian league at the moment, and last year they had 6 blow out wins (20+ margin) in the euro league - out of 20 games (bear in mind that 6 of those games were playoff type games against the best teams too)

Not many of you can get a price on this game, but if you can then you should play it! Plus its on at 3.40pm ET so you can watch it online in work http://www.euroleague.net [euroleague.net]">www.euroleague.net - goodluck

first time posting so give me a few days and see what I do.

Toronto +11 @ Utah: I think everyone is jumping on this game because of how great Utah is playing, but I think it somewhat ends tonight. The Raptors have played some good ball and even though it's a back to back I think they come out and play well. I think Utah still wins the game, but they don't blow them out. Utah has done good work vs some of the weaker teams: Denver, GS and had the Lakers off a back to back. I like the Jazz by 6-8. (prop bet for tonight that might be good on this game is Andrei Kirilenko total pts 16.5, he's been lighting it up this year and this won't be a blowout, so he will play significant minutes.)

Phx -4 at Cleveland: Both teams are coming playing on back to backs. Phx is just playing too good right now and they are going to be a team to contend with, even with no big man in the middle. They do too many things well to beat themselves. Cleveland played a hard fought game and ended up winning by 14, but had to extend their starters playing time. Add to that they have no bench. Take Phx -4

That's all I got for today. GL to all.

allright guys last night nice hit with toledo outright. i put 50 bucks on the ml for fun and won. damn i should have put more (lol)

this weekend i see a game screaming at me here. it saying bet the house, dog, and kids on this game. I look more and more and just can't see this game not covering. Yes i'm talking about the beloved nevada wolf pack -7 over smu.

guys, nevada needs to win this game if they want to have a chance at a bowl game. Their 5-4 right now with games remaining against powerhouses fresno st. and boise st.

nevada is ranked 20th in the country scoring. This team will put up numbers against this smu team and when smu falls behind its all over because smu is playing against a team that is 13th in the nation in pass defense.

Chris ault will have his team fired up as he was brought back to nevada to revive this team somewhat. I see this as a must win situation for nevada so i will bet them straight and teased as well.

take it leave it do what you want. I'm hot right now and hope this streak continues with our beloved wolfpack on sat.

on a another note, i will be taking utah st. +7 1/2 over ark st. tom. I know ricky you like ark st. but i have to go against you bro. I think they win this game for their coach who was fired earlier this week. gl everyone.

I actually picked the over in Port/NJ. Let me say it again, I actually picked the over in Port/NJ....how embarassing. Sometimes numbers lie Went one and two last nite. W w/under Mia and lost w/ tor Looked at the board and nthing jumped

    Tonites Plays

#1 WA/ORl Under 203 - same take as last nites mia game. Liek the WA to slow down to try and compete with superior team...either it gets away early and under hits or it will be close tight 4th quarter with WA trying to impress the home folks **.5 starsout of 4

#2 mem - 4 over LA....Anyone who saw the 4th quarter of the La's game last nite sam how diinterested this team can be. I think Memphis breaks the schneif tonite at home. Game opened at 3.5 up to 4 now so I am grabbing it. Miller will shoot the lights out tonite**.5 stars

Thinking about sixers under but not calling it a play

guys two more games of notice here this weekend that puzzle me.

first one is airforce -5 1/2. i'm loving this game right now. sdsu is 0-5 in conf. play and i don't see them stopping airforce's rushing attack. airforce had a huge win over army last week and can technically still be bowl eligble with a couple of wins. maybe this game is a trap but i see airforce winning by 2 touchdowns.

next game is la. tech over tulsa -5 1/2. For a team that can't stop the run i don' see why Ryan Moats doesn't run all over these guys.

airforce i like better, i might just play airforce and nevada this weekend.

on one more note, why are u calling us maggots santa claus. I don't recall anyone ever saying anything about you or your picks so no need for hostility.

Have fun and make money is my motto. gl everyone tonight with your wagers
