Well bit of a close night last night all in all! I played Utah and Dallas so was 1-1 last night.
Record for NBA now 4-2 ATS
Had an average play on the ML on Utah/Dallas/Detroit/Colts (bit obvious i know) but it came through in the end; so a profitable night.
Possibly there's a few plays to be made going with a couple of dogs. After all we saw last night with GS that you gotta start fighting soon if you wanna keep you seasons hopes alive, so am expecting some battle from the likes of Washington +11.5 but thats a weak argument - the reason I think washington can stay close here is the fact that they have a good young team with Hayes Arenas Hughes Juan Dixon and Jamison all solid scorers. their only down side is that they're missing a few role players and so their second unit doesnt inspire - but nor does the Heats! If Washington can limit Wade and make him go inside to Shaq I really dont think they'll have too many problems from a hobbled diesel - and by that I mean he's not going to post 20+pts and 20+rbs! Even if Miami is blowing out Washington theres every chance of a cover by the end of the 4th quarter with Wade/Diesel sitting out.
Other possibles are Phoenix & Portland, but I dont like taking big road lines, thats a sure quick way to the po'-house. Maybe a ML parlay on them keyed in with Washington on the spread.
So its a treble parlay Washington +11.5, Phenix ML, Portland ML
The only other play I am considering as a big single is Lakers pick - this line is an early offer and I might just have to snap my bookies hand off on that one - could be I'm being baited, but I'll take it.
Early line Lakers pick - not going to last - I'd say Lakers will go off at -2.5 by game time.

Well just like I said yesterday in my post..i love when everyone jumps on one side...i loved the vikings last night and gobbled up the 7.5 for an easy cover. i also gave out golden st +13.5 and over golden st 193- both winners...the nuggets crashed and the pistons went to overtime but still didnt cover the 6..but a great night overall with the vikings cashing in....i love when people jump on a side like that.....i'll go the other way every day. back later today with college football and a few nba plays.

19 straight days of football continues on day 13 as the Toledo Rockets at 6-3 visit the Northern Illinois Huskies at 7-2. The Huskies are looking to wrap up the MAC western title against a team that seems to have their number. Toledo has won 7 straight games since 1997 and 10 straight dating back to 1990. This will likely be a high scoring affair with the 7th (Toledo) and 8th (N. Ill) ranked offenses squaring off tonight. Toledo is led by QB Bruce Gradkowski who is 6th in the nation in passing efficiency.
The Rockets avg. 469 ypg with 310 coming off the accuracy of his arm. This bodes well for the Rockets as N. Ill has been suspect against the pass.
Northern Illinois is a well balanced offense averaging 462 ypg with 239 coming from a potent running attack and 223 thru the air. They are led by sophmore sensation Garrett Wolfe who is averaging 191 ypg, (who's Adrian Peterson?). with 14 rushing TD's in last 6 games. Defensively Toledo gives up a ton of yards, 437 to be exact, while N. Illini allows 365 ypg.
What does all this mumbo jumbo tell me? Despite a little better numbers this season, I'll be a history major for this game and take Toledo plus the points.....
Toledo +7
I also expect this game to go over the total of 64.

Those damn LA Clippers do me again....2-4 ATS (3 of those L's due to the Clips, my own boys...lol) I better stay off them for a while, they might pull a LA Dodger or SD Charger turn around, you never know...They predicted those teams would finish at the bottom but look at them now...Whatever man.
WASHINGTON +11.5

Gentlemen,
Wanted to start capping a few nba (i like NHL totals more...can I get lines on ther Swedish League?)....i usually like to wait a few weeks for some trends to get started...but becasue of the sickness i share with many of you I cant resist.
#1 OVER PORT/NJ 175 - Nj - 3 - 0 to the over this year...they are either giving up pts or gettting it themselves. If this game plays to the averages it still hits as both teams are averaging over 90 pts per game. I have it at 175. *** out of 4
#2 UNDER MIAMI/WA 199.5 I dug up this gem of a trend from OSGA Handicappers, "Miami has gone under 68-34 since 1996 against teams allowing 100 or more points per game" also...from donbest.com has the scoring edge to the under...This game can get ugly early or WA will have to slow down the pace to be competitive with all their injuries. *** out of 4
#3TOR +9 v. Sac in a little bit of dissaray and toronto is playing hot. 9 is a lot of points in this case. This is essentially a road game for both teams b/c SAc is coming home after early (poor)road trip. ** of 4 Vince is excited
