Can picks be just for picks, not advertising?
I don't really care that pakman and whoever want to start charging. But can they cease advertising on the picks page? Put it in some other section, like hints, etc. Just my thought Ricky I'd hate to see the picks board get cluttered with a back and forth on this (and even though this one will end soon, you know someone else won't be far behind) Hell maybe you could create a new forum for pay services.

I agree. I eventually do want to advertise and maybe start charging for picks if I build up a high enough win percentage. But it would definitely be nice not to have any of this clutter in the daily picks section.

I agree too! I think its a good idea to have a PayPicks/Service forum so that interested people can go over there and discuss them and rip them apart if they want to...

better yet...if they want to charge for picks, you can charge them to advertise.

That's a good idea! Make a nice donation, and I'll put up a banner to advertise your pay service... How about that???

Ricky - good idea on the donation. You could also set up some arrangement with the services where you get a commission on any new business they get resulting from the advertising on this site. It would be paid as a donation to keep this site going.
