NBA Finals Picks Game #5 Sun. June 14

No way the Lakers are losing this series now, but I don't think it's over just yet. Way too many turnovers and horrible free throw shooting cost the Magic the other night. I think they get it right on this night and take care of the basketball as well as make the right plays down the stretch. Just like the Cavs weren't going to allow the Magic to celebrate at the Q, I think the same goes in Game 5 at Amway; the Magic aren't going to lose this series on their home floor. The Lakers will have to wait until Tuesday to finish this thing off at the Staples Center.

Play:

2* ORLANDO -3

  1. 2-0 last time out. Easily hit the under even with an OT and then got lucky on the Lakers cover. Aso had played the alternative line Lakers -3.5 so a great night! I agree JD - I dont think Orlando wants Kobe celebrating on their court and they have been the better team the last 2 games. I think they push it to 6 with a win here. I also think they know they'll need to push the tempo, but I don't see it breaking 200 again. Also sticking with the under which has been 3-1 thus far in the series with 2 OT games staying under.

    Orlando -3

    Under 198.5

    31-22-1 Playoff posted record.

Tito, keep up the good work with those totals! I figured you would be heading back to the under again for this game! GL! And go Magic, but only for this game!

  3. Great season JD, the Lakers were just too good - I'll see you next year!

32-23-1 for the playoffs - I wish they weren't over!

If anyone knows a good football capper to follow, let me know -- I can't make my own plays until hoops start again.
