NBA Picks for Wed. May 27

Props to the Magic for getting it done. Cavs were the more aggressive team and should have won that game, but the Magic made the clutch plays to win, including "Rashot" (sorry PC, I had to say it) near the end of regulation. There is nothing you can do when a team hits 17 threes, shoots almost 45% on threes, and shoots 50% from the field (good looks turned into many made jumpers). LeBron had to do way too much down the stretch again and committed some costly turnovers. He is absolutely amazing, though. We need some more athletic, versatile frontcourt players to compete with the likes of the Nuggets, Lakers, and Magic. Props to the Magic again as well as their backers. My boys are done. Out west we go to Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Play:

1* L.A. LAKERS -6 (as much as I want the Nuggets to snag this one, I don't see it happening; Lakers should win in convincing fashion)

Once again, another great game. Hit on the over easily and had to sweat the Orlando cover. Im thinking its going to be another close one in Cleveland so hoping for some points on Orlando - my book hasn't posted the line yet. They also took the Lakers game off the board after it opened at -6 / 209.5 and not sure why.

I've got a tough one on my hands and wanted to see what you fellas thought JD and PC. I put 100 on Denver at +230 at the start of the series to win. Im not feeling great about it and could hedge off with LAL -210 to win the series. Would you uys let it ride? I dont see Kobe losing 2 in a row this postseason especially with those being at home.

Be back with the Wednesday plays once my book reposts them.

I like Denver to cover the 6 tonight.

As for your hedge Tito, depends how much you have on it. I think LA will win the series still. If you can find a good hedge bet on series outcome, I would take LA to win in 7 to hedge and then you get your value both ways.

LA wins tonight, but it should be close. I also like the under but not releasing anything on BPO tonight. Celebrating 10 years with the Mrs. so not playing anything on service but did bet 2 units on Denver +6 and 1 unit on the under 209 1/2

Jdelt....you seem to forget Orlando was up 8 twice in the 4'th quarter.Your the 4'th Cavs fan who's post I read states Orlando got lucky or hit a great shot. I stick by my original assessment that Cleveland just didn't play the level of competition early in the playoffs and it hurt them mentally and in preparation for the Magic/Celts winner. We saw Cleveland FINALLY run with the Magic and they almost pulled it out. Be proud of the Cavs and hope LeBron doesn't go to New York, which I think he will. Your right, you need a Gasol like player down low and that team will be unbeatable. Magic and Van Gundy have the blueprint and players to beat that team. Stop hating on the Magic, you should be hating on your coach and front office. As predicted, this series is an outright war. I'm guessing your gonna roll on Cleveland minus the 8 on Thursday..all I can say is......MAGIC$$$

Thanks PC. I'm getting +120 on Lakers to win in 7.

I'm torn on the side - I think the -6 is right about where it should be so playing the total:

Denver/LAL under 209.5 -- With the exception of the 4th quarter of game 4, this series has been slower pace than most expected.
