Daily Picks for 4/22 Wednesday
GLTA...
I'll try to post here and there...
MLB:
I'll roll on KC over 9 -115 with Bannister and Lee on the Hill. (Also got a little crinkle on the Royals.) I told Hilly and some others at our fantasy draft that I thought Cliff Lee was a flock of seagulls kind of pitcher. (One hit wonder). Well, it's showed so far. And how about those Royals bats? Down 7-1 Yesterday and lost 8-7. Grady Sizemore has finally found his groove, V Mart and Pronk are back, and even Jhonny Peralta is turning around his hitting. Brian Bannister got called up to make this start and he's been effective in the past. But the way the Indians are murdering the ball (ever since putting up 22 on the Yanks on Sunday) I can't see a reason to stay away from this over. Lee has to prove to everyone he's got it in the tank. I think he's a donk.
2** on over 8 -115
NBA:
New orleans under 199.
Hornets got punked by Chauncey and company in game 1. In game 2, defense usually prevails (for those on my service play, take that TOTAL NOW before it moves anymore) and I see no reason to not lay on the boring under play. Denver can score in droves, but New Orleans prides itself on defense when they can't score. I think you see a better defensive effort and a much closer game in Game 2 tonight in the Pepsi Center. Can Chris Paul win this series singlehandled, probably not. But I'll bet you see a better defensive effort tonight.
1* on under 199
GL fellas. Let's get some MLB going..>BIG BOY..where you at.
