The edge for Oct 28-30

This is a short list to start with. FYI: 8-4 last week, and 6-3 the week before (although I didn't post those). I will post these every week from now on. I am feeling pumped after a winning week. (I also made up for my loss on the Broncos with a parley on Bosox and Under tonight!)

So, I want to keep sharing these with everyone. I am watching 21 more games in which the lines are moving and will post an updated list on Friday.

Iowa

Kansas State

Tulane

Washington State

Please remember, this is just statistical edges. Don't take it if you don't like it!

PS - my sportsbook has preseason NBA lines now - does anyone have any picks on those?

  1. That is an edge against the point spread! I don't want anyone to misunderstand that. I don't usually pick underdogs...I'm just not that good yet.

  2. I only have one team to add to my list: San Diego State. So this is the final list:

    Iowa

    Kansas State

    Tulane

    Washington State

    San Diego State

    There are 8 more that I will check the line movement on before they start. WA State is probably the best bet on this list and will be one of my picks tomorrow. As discussed in the thread started by Teek, UNC may be a good underdog pick also - scary, heh?

    Anyway, now comes the disclaimer: Theses are stat trend edges, but not a reason to pick the team. If you have more info on these games, then you need to make your own decision on picking them.

    And...one more thing - Thanks to all that contribute to this group. Somebody mentioned that there are "action players" here. That is great, I love the action. But I have decided to commit to only posting my best picks. I have changed my attitude about the pick board from one of posting everything to see how many I get right, to posting the few picks that I am sure about. If we all work together on that idea, we can keep having fun at this as well as helping each other make some money!

    So, no more long lists of pick from me. I am going back to posting my best. It is the middle of the season and the good picks are getting harder to make. Some guy named Sundaybreak had a great point 2 or 3 weeks ago....'nuff said....

    Let's make some buck$ and kick some bookie butts!

  3. Wow, these went 0-5 yesterday. I will still post them again next week and see how it goes...That's gambling, I guess. I'm glad I made some other bets too and ended up 4-4 on the day.
