  1. Got drilled this weekend. 0-2 on College and 0-2 in NFL. So with that in mind....

I'm on the under 44 in Cincy/Denver. Both teams will run tonight as the R and R show eats clock. Denver SHOULD get the lead and run clock in the 4'th. Also, if you read my email last week, I was all over the Broncos under last week which cashed. That makes 5 straight unders for the Denver D since opening week over against high octane Chiefs at home. And Carson and Co...your no Chiefs offense my friends.

PLAYING ON UNDER 44, but having a bad weekend so watch out!

Quick notes to some of the boys:

Como: Nice job putting it together this weekend with all the chaos. Gopher city too baby!

Ricky: Hope your enjoying CR. Say hi to the boys at ACR in San Juan for me.

Billz: Hope all is well on the sidelines. Shout at ya soon. Gauchos fire up anyday!!

Sunday: Good to see you back, I think. After this weekend, I will take the free gambling lesson!!!! Got drilled.

Madx: Finally caught your ass in the AE fantasy league. Battle for supremacy is right around the corner bro! When do the heavyweights play?

Vegas: Good luck with your venture(s)! I'm on the Red Sox for series, hope your city finally gets to party.

Axd: NBA is right around the corner bro. Remember Denver at home over early last year in NBA? Well, I've identified another one that will be cash money until Vegas and betting public catches on. Hope your studying, money time in college and NBA is coming!!

NOTE TO ALL: This thread is always for posting, I'm being a hypocrite with this note, but lots of call outs, posts for Fantasy hoops, etc. Let's try to keep it to posting on this thread.

Good luck all slam the man.

  3. I agree with you PC that the under should come in. However I feel an even stronger play would be Denver minus the number. Denver has not been talked about as an elite team and they are a fumble away from being perfect. And yes I know that there competiion has been on the not so stellar level, so Cincinnati continues the trend. Also Denver has been beating the teams they should which is a positive sign, just ask St Louis and Seattle about that.

Look for Denver to run the 5th year back Ruben Droughns down the throat of the worst rush defense in the league. Droughs has averaged about 165 the last 2 games over stiffer competition. So that bodes well for the under, however Denver might just score to damn quickly and you can bet that Cinncy will have a trick play or 2 ready for MNF.

Anyway put some big iron on the Broncos and relax.

PS Also don't think that Shanny has forgotten that Cory Dillon set the NFL single game rushing record against the Broncos a couple years back as a Bengal.

  4. Another die-hard Broncos fan? Glad to have you here.

It seems to me that this is the kind of game that the Broncos choke on. If Plummer could cut down in the interceptions - he is lucky that the D doesn't let the opponents capitalize on them. Although I think they can win it, I hope they cover the spread. They have to win by more than touchdown since the line has moved to -7. Cincinnati sucks and Denver has been pretty consistent this year. So, I am still taking the broncos and feel that they will win by at least 10 and the points will go under as well.

    Broncos -7, Under 43

  9. Cut-n-paste special on the total.

On the face of it, this selection does not make alot of sense. Cincinnati is averaging only 16.6 points per game. Quarterback Carson Palmer is completing only 54% of his passes, and has already thrown 8 interceptions. On the other side of the football, Denver's offense once again is starting to thrive in the RUSHING department as Reuben Droughns has rambled for a grand total of 369 yards in the past two weeks. The more you RUN the football, the more time you take off the clock, which has always been good news for the "under" player. Another reason why this selection really does not make sense is because Denver has become a DEFENSIVE oriented team. In the offseaon, head coach Mike Shanahan saw what the Carolina Panthers did to make the Super Bowl, and vowed to improve his defense. Not only did they get star CB Champ Bailey in that infamous Clinton Portis trade with Washington, they also brought in Jon Lynch who starred for 10 seasons in the Tampa Bay secondary. Thus it should not come as too much of a shock that Denver is ranked FIRST in yards and SECOND in points allowed on the defensive end. At this point, you must be wondering why in the world I would go "against the grain" and recommend the OVER. The main reason is that the Cincinnati defense is ranked dead LAST versus the RUN, due to a myriad of injuries both on the front line and at linebacker. Cincinnati head coach Marvin Lewis is trying to build the Bengals in the same mold as Mike Shanahan, which is that the TEAM is greater than the individual parts. The problem with Lewis right now is that he lacks the overall defensive personell to make that theory work. During his days as Baltimore's defensive coordinator, he had standout players like Ray Lewis. It is going to take time for Lewis to rebuild that awful Bengals defense. Meanwhile on the offensive end, QB Carson Palmer (190 attempts) has been forced to THROW the football because Cincy is always playing catch-up from an early deficit. The biggest challenge tonight will be for the Bengals to control Denver's running game. Following some pretty intense research, I have found out that since 1992, the average TOTAL POINTS in Cincinnati HOME games versus dominant BALL CONTROL teams is 53 TOTAL POINTS!!! Also dating back to 1992, Denver is a shocking 7-0 OVER/ROAD following a brilliant defensive performance where they allowed 6-or-LESS points!!! Now you know why I am going against the grain with the total this evening.

-I also like Cinci +7 - They will be jacked for this game.

  10. Had a good day yesterday with the Chargers +3 and betting Chargers ML at +150. Here is my play tonight:

    1) Broncos (-6.5) - Bengals are 0-5 ATS this year and 0-8-1 ATS in last 9 games. Denver is 5-2 ATS in last 7 meetings. Bengals has the worst run defense in the league which means Droughns will have another huge day on the ground. Denver also has the best D in the league giving up only 222.8 yards per game.

    Good luck everyone!! :D

  11. I already posted Cincinnati earlier in the week, but I waited for the line to go up, and it did just as I expected. Forget about the 7 I was looking for; I got a 7.5.

    CINCINNATI +7.5 (Large Play)

The road favs. finally stunk out the joint yesterday. It's about time the public got drilled on them. One more road fav. going tonight, and don't be surprised if Cincy wins outright.

    CINCY BENGALS +7.5

    NCAAF 2-1

    NFL 3-1

Let's keep the rock rolling here.
