Picks For Tues 1/27
GLTA
Hey Roush..nice card last night in college hoops. Great hits on 'Quette and Boomer Sooner.
I'll have an NBA for GP later...Right now I'm trying to justify if 17 points is too much in Creighton's Tilt with the Sycamores tonight. See you guys later. Have a great Tuesday.

Purdue ML (even) at Wisconsin
Teams going in opposite directions...Purdue is on a 4 game winning streak and Wisconsin is on a 4 game skid. Should be a close one, as all games at the Kohl Center tend to be low scoring and tough battles. Hummel is questionable for Purdue, which could make it interesting...however, I will go with Purdue to pull this one out.
Good Luck On All Of Your Plays!

Rookie...I don't even touch the Big Ten, but I enjoy reading you and Frosty's posts. The love affair with Michigan State and the Illini are solid!
I got a question for Rookie...I saw Wisconsin live in Omaha last year at the regional. Most of that team is back and I thought they were very good. What the hell happened to that team this year? Wisconsin not giving points at home is crazy....even to the big boys. Just curious, the team I saw in Omaha last year and this team are not the same but have a lot of similar faces. Anyways, just wondering.
My NBA PLAY TONIGHT:
8:05 PM CST
San Antonio at Utah:
I like San Antonio to win this game at the pick em line.
The reason this line is a pick em is Utah's incredible home tenacity. They were an NBA best last year losing only 4 home games all last year during the regular season. In addition, San Antonio hasn't won in Utah since 2006. But I'm all over San Antonio for a number of reasons tonight.
Let's start with UTAH: The jazz will not have Carlos Boozer or AK 47 Andrei Kirelinko tonight. The Jazz defense, usually a strong suit, really needs the bench. They are getting tired and it showed in a 10 point loss against Denver. Anyone that saw that game knows they ran out of gas. Utah has lost 3 in a row SU and to me, look like they need Boozer in the worst way. That leaves Deron as the main scoring option and he's more of a point guard who can score than a scorer who plays point.
I think Tony Parker is going to neutralize Deron, at least, as much as you can he's amazing, but the other Spurs defenders will key on doubles and stopping him at the point of attack. The Jazz are in serious trouble tonight in my opinion.
SAN ANTONIO has come into this game with a 12-7 SU road record. They are playing good ball and Tim Duncan looks very good lately. With Parker, Manu, and Tim all healthy, this team is once again dangerous. Roger Mason Jr. solidified his career with great and valuable playing time when Parker and Manu were out. This spurs team is deep and talented, and Utah can ill afford to play with them not at full strength. Not having Boozer is a killer for them tonight, just simply the wrong time to catch the Spurs. I'm not sold on Utah's home hype...Spurs get this one.
1* on San Antonio Pick em @ utah tonight
GL whatever your on..>hit em straight.

Very good point on Wisconsin PC! I think a lot of the country doesn't realize how good the Big 10 is this year! As you know, if you get into a funk, it can be hard to get out of it! I think that's where Wiscy is right now- don't count them out though! I think they will get out of this funk eventually. Didn't they lose their big man that could shoot the lights out from the outside??? He was/is the main guy in terms of leadership on that squad. So- that may have something to do with it!
I'm fired up about my Spartans- even though they haven't covered when I've laid the wood on them, plus the loss to Northwestern! Then I lay off on them and they cover! Yea, I know, don't bet on your team! But, it's too damn fun and seems to obvious what is going to take place 90% of the time 'cause you know them so well! I like them to get hot from here on out though! The schedule is soft for the next three/four games and we woke up to a nice comeback victory in Columbus on Sunday that I think will propel us from here on out to come out on top of the big 10.
