NBA Picks for Wed. Oct. 29
We were probably looking at the Eastern Conference Finals last night. Not the result I was looking for, but we still got the cover. Let's check out a couple for tonight.
OKLAHOMA CITY -2 (new home for this young but fun team; this crowd will be stoked for this game just like they were a few years back with the Hornets; Durant and crew will feed off that crowd and take out a Bucks team that played last night and doesn't seem to be headed in the right direction)
PHOENIX +2.5 (the Spurs will be a different team until they get Ginobili back; he has become the go to guy in San Antonio, so don't expect the Spurs to jump out to a great start; not sure what to expect with Terry Porter at the helm in Phoenix, but I'm sure they will play more defense than they did under D'Antoni; Phoenix has been dominated by San Antonio in the playoffs over the past four years, but it has had some success against the Spurs in the regular season; I like the Suns to take this one on the road, avenging last year's playoff loss to San Antonio)
Season Record: 1-0
