Houston Astros - 125 (at) Atlanta (98-67) is 2-4 last six Wright (15-8, 3.27) starts. Wright at home started Game One of this series, losing to the Astros 9-3, allowing six runs, including three home runs, over 4 1/3 innings. Houston (94-72) is 14-3 last 17 Oswalt (20-10, 3.49) starts. Here is the stat I have been using during the playoffs the past few years:
Over the last six postseasons, according to the Elias Sports Bureau, Clemens was the 40th pitcher to start a game on short rest. Teams taking that gamble now have a '62-Mets-like record of 11-29 in those 40 games. The record of those pitchers themselves is 7-20, with an ERA north of 5.00.
That being said, I cannot fade the Astros (even with Phil Garner making his ridiculous moves).

Well the Seahawks blew ass in the second half yesterday making me 1-2 on NFL. Today I like the Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves Over and the Atlanta Braves to win.

Ok fella$$$$$ Are we ready for some MNF From Greenbay........? This game is a due or die for both teams.......with loser pulling out the golf clubs earlier then wanted. I ve looked at this game and yes it does look fishey. Greenbay Packers @ home -3 ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. But before you go and say woooooow Jimmyz is picking the Underdog ,Fisnsh reading my Post.
Greenbay has now lost 3 straight games dating back to loses against the Bears , at indy and last week at home vs a very tough and up and coming New york Giants team. The pack problems vs New york with tiki running the ball and Bret Farves head injury. The major factor in the line only being -3 is 3 reason's.
1st Bret Farves head.
2nd Back up QB PETERSON OUT.
3RD Mcnair banged up.
Greenbay lost 2 straight at home for 1st time since 1988 nad 3 straight overall for 1st time in 7 yrs. Dont forgot bret may come out like gang busters for his deceased brother in law who died monday from a ATV Accident. Im not saying farve and Co win for him but odds are in favor of pack and Homegame braking this 3 game losing streak.
Two many weapons for packers and tenn unable to run ball tonite.
Las vegas is on the edge too and would not be suprised to see this line go to -3.5 or 4 before kick off.

What's up fellas$$$$ I haven't posted since Friday, so first a little catching up. I went 2-1 on my single bets on Friday for +4 units, however my Angels series bet came to a crashing end for -10 units. That makes a total of -6 units on the day, bringing my overall postseason count to +9.75 units. Then on Saturday another series bet, the Twins, lost for another -5 units, bringing me to +4.75 units. Now that I've caught up, here's what I got for tonight.
Under/HOU (8.5 o -120) - 5 units
Braves (+115) - 6 units
Series Bet
Astros (-140) - 5 units (posted Tues.)
The reason I am cancelling my series bet is because it is not a good value to have a team at -140, when they are only going for -125 that day. Plus the Braves are at home and have stolen the momentum of the series away from the Astros. Pitching Oswalt on three days rest doesn't help either.
