I think tonight points will be thrown up like crazy. Take the over!! Also I like the Jets in a teaser with 14 1/2. after some of the games yesturday it showed us that anything can happen... any team can win ... or at least cover... against any team....

I like the Chargers -9 tonight. The first two weeks has shown me that the Jets are not that good..Favre or not. Plus, calls will be going SD's way after last week. If the Jets can score 17, this one goes over.

New York (+8) at San Diego (44') - 8:35 p.m. EST
I love getting all these points tonight as New York will be in this game throughout and will enter the fourth quarter with a fair shot at winning outright. New York, which opened the season with a win at Miami, is 3-0 SU/ATS in its last three trips to San Diego and is on spread runs of 4-0 on the road and 9-5 as a highway pup under coach Eric Mangini. They’re also 14-4 ATS following a non-cover and this is definitely a bounce back spot for them after a disappointing home loss to New England last week. A closer look here shows that the Flyboys have played some inspired defense this season and rank sixth in the league defending the run (76.5 ypg) and eighth in total defense (268.5 ypg). And we know that LaDainian Tomlinson is not 100 percent with a nagging toe injury. The San Diego running game hasn’t gotten on track and L.T. has no rushing TDs this year. They have hit some big home run ball passes, but New York has done a solid job in limiting big pass plays. The Flyboys, who held Randy Moss to just two catches and NE to only 260 total yards last week, have allowed only three passes over 20 yards this year. The Bolt offense is also struggling in the red zone with just two TDs in six trips inside the 20 this year. On the otherside of the coin, the Shawne Merriman-less San Diego defense is not playing well and has been the big reason the Bolts are off to an 0-2 start. They come into this one ranked 30th in the league in defense allowing more than 32 points and 437 yards per game. Look for the Flyboys, who are averaging 4.2 yards per carry, to establish the run and set things up for Brett Favre and play-action. Speaking of, Favre is 5-0 SU as a starter against San Diego and we know he loves the Monday night prime time lights. This is his kind of game and he’ll come big as will the entire New York team as the Flyboys easily stay inside this inflated price.
