BP's Weekend CFB Card

BP Friday Night Selection

Friday Night we have the 3rd Big East vs Big 12 game of the week! I laid off the first 2, but do see some potential in this one! I saw the line and said immediately, Too Many Points!! I like Baylor to cover the 12 points against UConn! This should be a good match up that should end closer then not! I say with confidence that this game should end within a single digit win. Why do I say this? Well both teams are good, especially stingy on Defense against the Run & both these teams rely offensively on the ground attack. Whose better? Offensively on the ground I would give the edge to UConn since they have a good running back to rely upon. Baylor relies heavily on the legs of their QB. But where I see a difference is in the QB position. UConn's QB isnt exactly effective throwing for under 400 yards on the year at a % under 60 and throwing only 1 TD to 4 Interecepts! While Baylor's QB is much more effective, throwing for 550 yards on the years so far at a 63% clip, with 4 TD's and no INTs. But with all due respect, UConn's Offense has been effective as a whole scoring an average of 30 pts per game! I do believe that this will be the toughest test for UConn this season. I expect a respectable game finishing within the points! Let's take the Dog!

I liked a lot of plays this Saturday, but I slimmed it down to a solid 3 in my opinion! I really liked this one! Tulsa's Offense is one high powered offense, and I believe in their first home game of the season, they will really show that against New Mexico! New Mexico's first game on the road won't be sugarcoated when playing against a QB such as David Johnson who has been STELLAR thus far! The guy has thrown for 750 yards at a whopping 79% connection rate! And lets not ignore the 9 Touchdowns to 0 Interception ratio! Tulsa is a big play type of offense, averaging 13+ yards per completion! New Mexico on the other hand has a starting QB who is yet to Toss a TD, but has thrown 4 INT's on the year. Tulsa doesn't have the strongest Defense by no means, but will score, and New Mexico despite the lack of Tulsa Defense will find it hard to keep up when they have so much trouble at the QB position this year! New Mexico's first road game of the season should not be a good one when Tulsa lights up the board in their first home game!

BP 3* Saturday Night DOG Selection

I was looking for a solid Dog Selection for Saturday & I think I found it here! We have Vandy visiting the good Ole Miss! Vandy has impressed me thus far this season. Not that their offense is Flashy or well balanced or anything like that, but it seems that they seem to get the job done, whether they rush all game long, or their Defense makes the big stops or causes the big turnovers! I'll be honest, seeing them as a 7 Point Dog against Ole Miss kinda excited me! Vandy is already much better than what was expected out of them, but why stop now? Vandy and Ole Miss should be a very good Defensive battle, meaning it should be a lower scoring afair. Seeing the total at 51 is a little bit suprising, but I do believe this should be a close game staying within the TD. Let's grab the DOG here!

BP 2* Saturday Day Time Selection

This year has started off GREAT for UNC! They are a perfect 2-0 and off handing Rutgers an ass whooping ... But they find them selves this week going against an extremely stingy Defensive unit in Va Tech. This game should be a low scoring game and end with a tight and good ending. VaTech offense is subpar, but their defense makes up where their offense lacks. I will take the + points in this one to start the day!
