I know this is a posted message forum but just wanted to share my terrible Sunday with you. I had the worst day of two years of daily gambling. Thanks for Oaktown and the Miami under that brought back some of it....
GOTPICKS FANTASY BASEBALL UPDATES:
In the 1'st annual Gotpicks Pay League, we had a classic 1'st Final. Sundaybreak disposed of the Team of Destiny, a gotpicks local who hails from Chi Town. Our league front runner CJHill, lost to the upstart and bottom seeded Tristan, a non gambling Phish fan from New York.
In the final, Sunday brought out the guns and had a big lead which Tristan tried to whittle away at. Sunday prevailed in a close final and is crowned the 1'st ANNUAL GOTPICKS FANTASY BASEBALL CHAMPION> Congrats Bro.
In our Gotpicks Freebie League....
Perry Como got his ass handed to him by none other than yours truly in the 3'rd place game. That's after I traded him Smoltz for Johnny "Mullet" Damon. In our finals, we once again had the SundayBreakster squaring off against everyone's all American...Ricky Rosario.
Ricky..who banked on a strategy of drafting predominantly Puerto Rican players. But this strategy paid off as Ricky and the PuertoRican Dream Team took Sundaybreak's 4U2Enjoy team out back.
Congrats to all who played and thanks for the good time.

In the World Championship of Fantasy Football...Gotpicks is well represented with DollarBillz, Perry Como, Ricky Rosario, SundayBreak and PC7588 storming out of the gates with a 3-0 start. Our magic number to qualify for the league championship of our league is 7. That's right, the gotpicks crew is only in week 3 of fantasy and they already have a magic number target. If you saw our injuries, you would be amazed at the smoke and mirrors campaign that is our 3-0 start.
NOTE: Anyone interested in fantasy basketball please drop me a line. The league will be cheap...$100.00 for the year.
Starting positions:
2 Centers
5 Forwards
5 Guards
5 reserves
Point System:
1pt for every point scored
1pt for every rebound
2pt for every assist
2pt for every steal
2pt for every blocked shot
-1 for every turnover
Scoring is run by the week. You set your lineup on Monday morning and then run totals for the week. However, the points are an AVERAGE for the week.
Example:
Vince Carter Monday-47 fantasy points Thur-63 fantasy points Sat-41 fantasy points...you would then add these three numbers for his 3 games that week and then divide for his weekly fantasy average. It is done this way so that players who have only 2 games and players who have 4 in one week can score relative to each other.
CBS runs the site and it's easy easy easy. Just set your lineup, watch the live scoring, and make your checks out to the winner. This league won't start for over 2 months, but would love to have it.
ONE MORE FANTASY NOTE: If Sunday is up for it, we will do a college Basketball office pool similar to Picks that Click for football. There will be 15 college games posted each Saturday and you have to pick the winner against the spread. Sunday and Ricky did a great job on picks that click, and if they run with this, awesome. If not, I'll set one up as well.
