16-14 ats college foots! MIAMI -29 To big to fast to strong vs overmatched Houston! Miami just plain reloads from year to year as this years version plays shut down defense as well as any past Miami team!! AKRON +7 will take the points as the Zips have played the big boys ( got killed but ...) now a step down in talent! BARNBURNER! Take the points!

It's been a dismall start on posted picks this year, but Mama needs a new pair of shoes and with tonights wins...she can buy 3 pairs!

I know Akron has seen a little stiffer competition this year, but their defense is awful and Kent States Joshua Cribbs should have a Michael Vick like night as he will throw for a bunch...and run for a bunch more.
Miami -29 vs Houston
29 pts sure seems like alot, but the fact that Houston gave up 35 pts to Army is enough to seal it for me. Brock Berlin may be Miami's worst QB in the last decade but it won't matter much tonight. I see a 49-6 score as Miami's defense has yet to give up a TD this year. That trend should continue.

Take Kent tonight... Yes Akron was blown out by much better competition in Virginia and Penn St. but lost at home too Mid. Tenn. St. who is not a very good team granted they have only played 2 games losing one to Florida Atlantic a Div. 1AA team at home...

Red Rascal thoughtfully reminded me in a private message that HOUSTON scored 35 pts against Army and gave up 21 pts. I still stand firm that Houston will likely not score an offensive TD and Miami should score 40 pts so I stick with my play.
Thanks again to Red for looking out for me.
