NBA Picks for Fri. May 23
The Pistons were hitting on all cylinders last night. Great performance by the backcourt as I expected. Both teams shot the ball well, but the Pistons definitely looked much better on defense than they did in Game 1. The difference was Detroit being more aggressive and getting to the free throw line. The Big Three for Boston were all finally solid on the offensive end in the same game, but it wasn't good enough to win. Not particularly a good sign for the C's. And the bench pretty much gave them nothing.
Opinion:
L.A. LAKERS -6.5 (once again, I will sit on the sidelines in this series and just enjoy; I think the Spurs had their shot to steal one in L.A., but you never know with this team; I believe that the Lake Show will come right out of the gate with more focus; don't want to lay that many points, though, so I'll stay away)
