Wow! What a collapse by the Spurs in the final 18 minutes of that game last night! They did wear down in the fourth as I expected they would, but I never thought they would be up 20 at any point in this game. Kobe took over and willed his team to a huge win. We will have to wait and see if the Spurs can recover from that collapse. If any team can do it, it's definitely this one.

Play:

DETROIT +4 (this team has responded so many times after a poor performance in a playoff game; I don't expect that to change in this game; the Pistons looked old in Game 1, but they will come out focused in this one; defensive intensity throughout the entire game and great backcourt play is what we will see from the Pistons; I said the C's would not win every home game, and the streak will end tonight)

DETROIT +165 (it's a must to roll on the ML for this particular game; I am hitting both side and ML, but you might consider just sacking up and hitting the ML here)

PC, I actually wouldn't mind seeing the Spurs go back to the Finals (even though I took the Lakers to win), but man, that one last night really hurts the Spurs. I've always hated the Lakers b/c one of my best friends is a huge Laker fan, which leads me to Big Messy.

Big Messy, I loved the Celtics back in the 80's b/c I was a huge Larry Bird fan. I always battled with my buddy on who was the better team (Celtics or Lakers). So definitely no hating from me on your hometown C's. They have just shown me in these first two rounds, though, that they don't have the mental toughness to win the title this year. Maybe they will prove me wrong. We will see.
