This to me is a tough week but then again last week had some surprises. Here's my early thoughts and top 5:
Phi to win by 10pts
Bal to cover
Indy to blow up green bay
Giants to cover
Sapp and the raiders to beat up on a poor TB offence
Upset of the week: Jak is primed to cover and potentially could pull out a win, if they keep their turn overs down.
Thats my two cents

I totally agree with you about Philly. I have seen both of their games and they have not looked sharp. But Detroit beat the Bears on a blocked field goal and then beat Houston. Philly is the better team by far and they will cover 4.
Pro games are so much harder to analyze because there is so much talent on every team where college some teams are men and some are boys.
Good luck and be careful on the Indy game. Green Bay did get beat by the Bears but are a good team. James is ailing and their defense is still lacking.

The Front-Runner makes its NFL debut:
Tennesse Titans –6
Been a while since I’ve seen anything worthy - and this will kick things off nicely. J’ville has struggled offensively scoring just 2 TD’s in 2 games – 31st in the NFL in passing and there’s no reason why the “struggleâ€Â

Early:
Play on the over in Tennessee, Jacksonville. Here’s why:
Injuries of Note: None..part timer DE Spicer for Jags game time Decision. Kyle Brady doubtful. Steve McNair is playing with some sort of ankle injury.
JAGUARS
**RB Fred Taylor has the more rushing yards against the Titans than any other team.
**WR Jimmy Smith has over a 1000 career yards against Tennessee alone. He lights them up.
**Offensive Rushing and Passing rank in the bottom of the NFL. A breakout is on the way against the league’s 22’nd ranked defense that gave up 31 to Indy at home and 7 against the Mighty Dolphins offense in week 1. Jacksonville will get clicking and turn up the heat in the air..where Tennessee’s Defense is terrible. In addition, the high % of passing plays will keep the clock stopped after Jax figures out they can’t run on the Titans. Mark my words…Jimmy Smith goes off Sunday.
**The Titans haven’t won in their last five efforts at Tennessee. This year, Tennessee faces a must win at home against a talented and dangerous team. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jags D score a touch this Sunday, it always seems to happen in this game.
**Reggie Williams will be on the field for the Jaguars. For us Floridians, we know that means the potential for big plays. If you get a chance to watch Reggie, you’ll see why the Jags aren’t anxious to extend Jimmy’s contract.
INTERESTING TREND IN THIS SERIES:
**The last five in Tennessee have blown away the spread in the opposite direction. Anytime it was listed in the 40’s it went way under. Anytime is was listed in the 30’s it was a shootout. Check it out:
11/16/03...Closing Total 44.5pts…Final Score: 10-3 Tennessee
10/13/02...Closing Total 43.5pts…Final Score: 23-14 Tennessee
11/04/01...Closing Total 37.5pts…Final Score: 28-24 Tennessee
10/16/00...Closing Total 40.5pts…Final Score: 27-13 Tennessee
--Anytime the total was over 40 it went under…when in the 30’s it went way over.
This game will go over. Chris Brown will have trouble and Derek Mason and the mobile McNair get it done. I’m rollin with the over 35 for a 6 unit play.
3:00 Game:
Denver/San Diego over 45 ½
I definitely think this line will go up. I’m gonna go right to the stats and then my thoughts.
*San Diego is 2-0 on the year on the over.
*San Diego is allowing 27.5 points a game so far this year.
*Last 3 games in the series have gone over.
*Last 2 games in San Diego have gone over with totals of 50 and 57.
*San Diego’s Defense is allowing 358 yards a game.
*Denver’s Rushing attack has averaged 144 yards a game in their last 3 visits to San Diego in this game.
Thoughts on the game: Early in the year, the AFC divisional games are usually a shootout. Denver and KC showed this in week 1 and you’ll see it again in week 3 with Denver and San Diego. Denver will absolutely gouge San Diego’s rush defense early. As a student of the AFC West, I can tell you that all AFC West rushing team D’s are terrible. Oakland’s is the best of a poor group. Anyways, watch Denver get up to over 20 in the first half and San Diego maybe 10 to 14. I like the 1H over as well and have already booked it at 22 ½.
Play on the over 46 ½. The Line is going down on this game, I got it early, and I think the late money will be on the under after Denver’s poor offensive showing against what I consider one of the best AFC defenses, the Jaguars. I’m out, slam the man.
RECAP of my 7 UNIT PLAYS:
Tennesse Jacksonville over 35...easy cover
San Diego/’Denver over 45 ½ to 46...back door on a garbage touch in the 4’th from San Diego.
Good luck fellas, I’m riding the Frontrunner when I find out what it is
And
Wisconsin
NC State
USC
Purdue
Washington (note Washington is my only PC play)

Whoops..for my Tennessee post...that should read...
"Jacksonville" hasn't won in their last five times at Tennessee instead of saying Titans lost last 5.
For the record Jax is 0-5 in their last five at Tennessee.
Take care and slam it.

Had a bad week on posted plays last week going a perfect 0-4 running overall record now at 3-5. Here are my plays for today:
1) Eagles (-4.5) - Detroit getting too much hype, Eagles much better team and can concentrate how Williams now that Rogers is out of the season and Lions can't run. Also, Detroit D is banged up and will have trouble with McNabb & Owens.
2) Bucs/Raiders under 34.5 - Bucs offense is horrible and have no receivers and Johnson is really bad. However, Bucs D is still very good and Raiders could only score 13 against the Bills at home, see score of around 13-10 where any team can win.
Good luck everyone!!
