1. Christ that Sox game was close! Dice-k pitched like shit and I thought for sure they wouldn't cover the 2 runs!! It was exciting and nerve racking but it hit none-the-less!!! (Luckily I might add!!!)

   MLB 2008 6-7 (-0.90 Units) --- got some back!!!

   Early leans for Monday: Cleveland and Tampa Bay. Yes I will be going AGAINST the BoSOX tonight and probably with TB. It is already after midnite and both teams still have to get out of the park, fly out and get settled in. Also, the Sox used much of the pen tonight with the exception of Pap/Oki and Tavares so if Lester gets in trouble.....

   Also, making my NHL Playoff debut with Colorado tonight!!

   Will update my final plays but looking at those three!!!

2. Lost yesterday's hockey pick to bring my record to 4-3-1 -.2 units.

   I had to look at my old files, but last week was my worst week in sportsbetting. Good thing I didn't get in over my head.

4. NHL PLayoff Debut: COLORADO AVALANCHE -145 4 Units

   I love the home team in game 3 ...especially the Avs. That place will be rocking and the AVS will come out flying!!!

   Cleveland Indians (Westbrook) ------- -120 2 Units (240-200)

   Thats right...No Sox tonight!! Late filght out to Ohio after a long, cold night playing the the Yanks at Fenway. Pen was used heavily last night. If the Indians can get to Lester (who I love) early, this game should cash easily!

   Tampa Bay Rays (Sonnanstine)-------- +105 2 Units (200-210)

   Late filght down to FLA after a long, cold night losing to the BoSoX at Fenway last night. Jeter may play but I believe he will be rusty and the Yanks catcher spot is questionable after Molina pulled up gimpy last night with a hamstring injury. Kennedy may be throwing to an unknown catcher and I am skeptical about him as I was Hughes. Look at how many times Hughes and Molina got crossed up last night....If Kennedy throws to a new catcher, the advatage will go to TB. Yanks will also be without Joba for tonights game as he returns home due to a family emergency.

   This is a great spot to start the week off right!!!

   I am sliding this small play in here as well!!

   Minnesota Twins (Blackburn) ----- +140 1 Unit (100-140)

   Detroit still hasn't pulled it together and Blackburn has thrown the ball well thus far. Nick Blackburn (0-1, 2.25), who is making his third big league start yielded two runs in five innings without getting a decision in the Twins' 7-4 road loss to the White Sox last Monday after giving up just one run in seven innings of a tough-luck 1-0 loss to the Angels five days earlier. But, Blackburn was pounded for six runs in two innings and charged with a 9-4 loss at Comerica on Sept. 26 in a relief appearance.

   Bonderman has struggled somewhat against the Twins, going 3-6 with a 5.31 ERA in 13 starts and 14 overall appearances.However, in his two starts against Minnesota last season, he was 1-0 with a 1.84 ERA. I just don't think the Tiger offense is clicking right now to give Bonerman the support he needs!

   Sens +110 one unit. Home game. Crowd's pumped. Alfie might be back. They finished the last game well, but came up short. This is the same team to make it to the finals last year. Pens still win in 5, but this is the one the Sens take.

6. Wow, this will be three times I agree with Messy today.

   Indians -120. 3 units Bosox 3-8 in games played after the series with the Yanks. Letdown game here.

   D-Rays +105. 2 units. Yankees haven't shown that they deserve the lines they're getting. They've scored 3.3 runs this year, allowing 4. Drays have scored 5.2 and allowed 4.1. D-Rays split the four game series in N.Y.

   Pirates +160. 1 unit. Dodgers have won only 1 out of their last 6. This line is too heavy on the starter pitching. If Duke can keep the Dodger bats at bay ealry, this one could go either way. Great value to fade the Dodgers.
