I don't know if I would use the word nipped...Got FU$%ed is more like it, but it's been a 24 hour trend...damn wood crossbars cost me cash today in futbol..anyways..we'll get em tonight JDelt...
NBA 1-1 ATS -1.2 units (lost 2.2 on N.O. over)
Got two tonight:
Utah over 226:
I love the fact that Denver is hammering to get in the playoffs. Numbers wise, Vegas Insider says the over is 6-0 in the last 6 with these two teams and I can see why. Denver has been playing uptempo lately, and by that I mean look at these scores:
DEN 114 @ GSW 105 +4 237.5 W/U
04/08/08 DEN 117 @ LAC 99 12.5 217.0 W/U
04/06/08 DEN 147 @ SEA 151 12 223.5 L/O
04/05/08 SAC 118 @DEN 115 -16.5 229.0 L/O
04/01/08 PHO 120 @ DEN 126 -7.5 238.5 L/O
03/31/08 DEN 117 @ PHO 132 +5 235.0 L/O
03/29/08 GSW 112 @ DEN 119 -8.0 240.0 L/U
03/27/08 DAL 105 @ DEN 118 -9.0 215.0 W/O
03/24/08 DEN 120 @ MEM 106 8.5 229.5 W/U
The Golden State under made sense because both teams had to play to win and that means 4 quarters of defense instead of the league suggested last 4 minutes of regular season games...
Anyways..Look at some of those numbers fellas..they just simply UMASS it...go downcourt, shoot, maybe run back. Utah is more than excited to get in this game with Deron Williams running the point. We need it to stay close, but I think it will. Pub is lost at 50/50 on the game but we'll take our chances on the over.
2** Utah over 226
Play #2:
I'll roll with one of my favorite teams to bet in the 2nd half..the Sixers. Philly is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 and playing for position. This should be a hell of a game and even with Hibachi and Caron back, Philly has a chance to win this game. They lost a surprising one at home to the Pacers last time out, but that could have been a trap game after a big home win against the Pistons. Tonight, Philly is re focused and should get this one on the road.
2** on Philly +1 @ Washington
