1-2 Yesterday with the Sox coming in as my only win!
MLB 08 3-4 (-2.4 Units)
Congrats to the Boston College Hockey Eagles as they head into the NCAA Championship Hockey game this weekend!!!! Could be taking another title back to Boston!!!!
As for tonights Yanks/Sox matchup....no decision yet. Wang has been lights out so far this year, (2-0, 1.38 ERA). He has been excellent in his first two starts, giving up only two runs over 13 innings. He yielded four hits with two walks and six strikeouts in six innings of Sunday's 2-0 victory over Tampa Bay.
However, he is 5-5 with a 4.56 ERA in 12 career appearances - 11 starts - versus the Red Sox, but has had some trouble at Fenway, compiling a 2-3 record and 6.17 ERA in six starts there.
Not sure if there will be a play on the side...may look at the over in this game....
Over is 4-0 in Wangs last 4 road starts vs. Red Sox.
Over is 21-5 in the last 26 meetings in Boston.
Will get back in here later with a final take on the game!

I can't believe SF beat St.L. It's also a good reminder for us to practise bankroll management in baseball. ANYTHING can happen.
I'll get my baseball picks out later. For now, it's hockey.
Had a good 3-0 day yesterday for +2.5 units.
Wsh -150. Riding high on that great 11-1 finish. They have a spectacular 37-17-7 record after switching coaches. I don't see Philly keeping up with the Caps speed and will spend a lot of time in the box.
Minny -135. I dont' see Colorado taking two in Minny. Minny has a great goalie and expect to see Gaborik have a 3-point night.

1-2 yesterday for -6.2 units.
Overall 12-17 -11.35 units.
I have to turn this around. I know it's in me. Last year, baseball was very good to me.
NYY/Bosox U 9.5 -125. 3 units. Yanks are 1-9 under this year. Their lines are too high because they have the reputation of being an over team. So far, their bats are not responding. Wang has been stellar. I think they can keep the Sox from pushing this over 9.5, because right now, the Yanks are cold.
LAA/Sea U 8.-115. 2 units. Sea just got shut out by Edwin Jackson. Can we expect much different with Weaver on the mound?
Cinci -105. 3 units. Everyone's talking about Cuerta, but this Volquex is the real deal. He will prove to be more consistent than Cuerta this year. The Cincy bats have proven that they will give him some run support.

1-1 ATS yesteday (good call JT$$$$) +0.6 units (won on Oakland, lost on Mets over)
Today:
Houston/Florida over 9 +100.
Oswalt is 0-2 this year and has looked like garbage. He has a minor injury but will pitch through it. He always seems to pitch better at home but I think the young Marlin's bats will get us a few. In the other dugout, the Astros have feasted on Nolasco in the past and I expect more of the same tonight. The Astros have some of the best young hitters in the game to go with Berkman and El Cabello. Should hit, let's see what happens.
2 units on over 9 +100
Today:
Let's roll on Cincy and the former DVD boy Endison Volquez. Once a highly touted prospect for the Rangers, Danks, Volquez, and Diamond got split up last year and it has helped all their careers. Volquez looks reborn in Cincy and had a great spring. Pitching in Pittsburgh, the park should help him limit damage from mistakes since it's such a pitcher's park. Volquez is a big time prospect and has great movement on his off speed. The big bats of Pittsburgh have been relatively quiet while role players like Nate McClouth and Ryan doumit have been going off. I expect Cincy to outslug Pitt and take this game convincingly.
2 units on Cincy -115

Alright, Bucholz has never faced the Yanks...I would say the advantage there would be with the pitcher. At Fenway, Yanks struggling (although Sox are not tearing it up) and huge rivalry, I will go with the Home town boys!!!
BoSoX (Buchholz) ------------- -110 (2 Units) 220-200
Not a big "total" player but I will give it a shot tonight!
Sox/Yanks OVER 9 (2 Units) 220-200
Good Luck Boys!!!!
