What a great fucking game!!! Congrats PC and all Jayhawks backers! It wasn't easy!
2-0 for the day and a nice start to the week!!
Won't be around later today, so I will leave you with this!
BoSoX (Dice-K) --------- -160 (2 Units) 320-200
Not overlly happy about the line but shit, its the home opener at Fenway and the Ring ceremony!!!
Here are some other reasons.....The Tigers have sucked so far!
ROGERS is 3-6 when starting against BOSTON with an ERA of 5.45 and a WHIP of 1.596. His team's record is 6-10 in these starts. The 43-year-old left-hander hasn't beaten the Red Sox since 2003, although he allowed just one run in seven innings in his most recent start against them in 2006.
MATSUZAKA is 1-1 when starting against DETROIT with an ERA of 4.50 and a WHIP of 1.214.
His team's record is 1-1 in these starts.
The Red Sox have won their last three home openers, while the Tigers have lost four of their last five at Fenway.
The Sox average 3.29 runs per game vs Det 2.50 and give up only 4.86 vs Dets 6.50.
The Sox are by no means playing to their potential and it is obvious that Detroit is not either. SO, I will take the less shitty of the two teams right now, At home on a special day!! Emotions will control this game and the defending champs will make a statement on opening day. Big Papi is off to a very slow and pitiful start but I will not be surprised if he has a huge day!!!
So, its two units to welcome home the 2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!!!!
On a side note, that game is far from a "Lock" but if a lock ever existed, I have it!!! This weekend is the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Phoenix International Raceway, or as we in the business call it the PIR!!! Now this mother fucker has 11 degree banking turns in turns one and two....Holyeeeeeee sheeeeeet!!!! Anyway, this track has more than 76,000 reserved seat tickets BUT are expecting only 10,000 due to a tornado that is about to wipe out a dozen or so trailer parks!!!....Not sure if your book has this, but the over under for the number of teeth inside the stadium at the checkered flag is 165,000!!! Now I did the math, the average "human" has 30 teeth. 30x10K=300,00. I say the number easily falls under this becuase the average red-necked hick NASCAR fan has rounghly 8-12 teeth in his head (Any teeth found in pockets of females do not count)----The number comes in UNDER---easily!!!!
Also, I am getting 5-1 that Mule is there in his overalls looking like Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard driving his pick-up transformed into a camper!!!
YEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK BOYOS!!!
GOOOOO SOX!!!

Thanks Hilly, Axd, Big Messy Takis and anyone else.....Axd great to see ya..where's the NBA Consensus of 3 years ago.
I'm a huge Hawks fan and I"m happy we won, but man Memphis, you had that game. I guess free throws do mean something when your playing for the grail. Congrats KU backers, I had the under but that was one of the best championships I can remember. BP and I are in a break right now after finishing last night so I'll post here and there until our next gig.
NBA:
Roll with me on New Orleans -4 @ home against Utah.

2-1 yesterday. +1.85 units
Bosox -160. 2 units. I have to agree with Mess on this one.
Jays -170. 2 units. Burnett looking good this year. Plus, the Jays are playing very well. I've been watching them and the chemistry on this team is great. I think it will be a great year to be a Jays fan.
D-backs +105. 1 unit. Maybe a trap game, but I'll bite. I like zona as a home dog.

From Wunderdog's free picks
Game: Chicago at Miami (7:30 PM Eastern)
Pick: Chicago -9.5 (-110)
The Miami roster has been reduced to what amounts to a pick-up team. Their last 11 games have not been pretty. They have shot just 37.4% and the offense for the most part is running the shot clock, and hoisting 3's. They have launched 245 long-rangers over the last 11 games. The problem is, even when they are hot, and successful, the results have been poor. On Friday they hit 19-32 from beyond the arc, which would usually mean an automatic win, but it resulted in a 14 point loss! That just shows how much is wrong with this team right now. They also recently hit 11-27 good for over 40%, and still lost by 28! They hit 9-17, over 50%, and lost by 20. The problem is when they don't hit them, they lose by even larger amounts. This team has averaged just 78.1 ppg in the last 11 games. Chicago has not had a good season, but they are 9-5 ATS on the road vs teams that will not be in the playoffs, and that includes a 30 point win here in Miami. We expect more of the same tonight, and a double-digit Bulls win is in order.
